Hello! Welcome to Arsen or welcome back to Arsen if you've already been down this road before.
I am currently going through some very slow revision with Arsen, sprucing it up a bit, and hopefully making it something I can be proud of. I hope you stick with me and continue to read it.
Thank you for any and all love and support!
Enjoy Arsen.

.......................
It's early and I've been up for hours. The nerves of starting at a new school and having to completely start over are getting the best of my brain. I can't seem to turn it off, the nerves and anxiety bubbling up in my chest. I feel a little bit like I am losing control of my thinking, but instead of dwelling on it, I get out of bed and start my day.
I am so frazzled that when someone knocks on my door, I nearly leap out of my skin. Chase, my twin and other half, walks into my room. He is already cleaned up and fully dressed. He has the biggest grin on his face and an excited glint in his green eyes, that we share.
"Ready to go?" He asks, raising an eyebrow when he sees that I am still in bed.
"Oh yeah, I was just adding the final touches to my ensemble." I grumble back, attempting to cover myself back up with my blanket, only to have Chase yank it off me.
Chase chuckles and rolls his eyes, dropping my blanket on the floor. "Oh baby sister, we're going to a brand new school where nobody knows us, embrace it."
"You are only three minutes older than me, Jackass." I shoot back, glaring at him. "You can't tell me you're not even a little bit nervous?"
He shrugs. "New school, new girls." Chase walks over to a door in my room which leads out to a small balcony.
I nearly killed Chase to get to this bedroom. When we got to the new house we had found this room at the same time and decided to battle it out to see which of us got it. Ten minutes into the battle and Chase was laying on his back with the wind knocked out of him at the bottom of the staircase and I was running into my new room. I went back to make sure he was okay once I had put my bag down.
"Speaking of new girls." He says. "I'm probably going to be sneaking them in and out of the house using your balcony, you know, so mom and dad don't find out. So if you wake up in the middle of the night and there's a random girl in your room, don't freak out."
I raise my eyebrow in disbelief at him. "I'll be sure to put a welcome mat down for them."
"Oh cheer up Amelia. Here, I'll help you pick out an outfit that will get you attention from guys."
"I don't want attention from guys and when did you become in touch with your feminine side?"
Chase rolls his eyes. "I'm not in touch with my feminine side I just know what guy's like to see on girls. But fine, if you don't want my help in getting even a little bit of positive attention..." Chase starts to walk towards the door.
I sigh. "Fine, you can help me."
He grins and opens up my closet to start digging through my clothes. Different articles of clothing come flying out of my closet, one nearly hitting me in the face. "Chase!" I groan, getting up and picking up what he had thrown out of my closet.
"How did mom's tablecloth get in- oh." Chase came out of my closet and held up one of my old dresses from over a year ago.
I was a bit bigger then.
I snatch the dress from his hands and start pushing him towards the door. "I take it back, I don't want your help!" once he was out the door, I slam it behind him and lock it.
