DANI'S POV:
It has been a few days since I was at Lillian's house. I'm not sure if she would call me a friend, but she doesn't dislike me anymore.
I felt bad about almost kissing her, but I could tell that she wanted me to kiss her. She was just scared.
All I want to do is take all of her fears away, I just want to be with her. But I knew that it wouldn't happen.
It was now Saturday, around six o' clock. I have a concert tonight and I am really hoping that Lillian is there.
As I make my way outside I yell goodbye to my dad and get on my bike. I quickly start it and drive towards the club, where the concert is at.
By the time I got there, it was around six thirty, so I got set up and the band and I started practicing.
Last week I saw how happy Lillian was when we were playing I Don't Care. So, that's what we are going to play, for sure.
"So, Dani, do you think your girl will be here tonight?"
"She's not my girl Liam, and I hope so. I want to talk to her more."
"You mean you want to fuck her."
I rolled my eyes and gave Liam the finger. He knew that it bothered me when he talked about Lillian that way. She's special. I just know it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was now around eight, and the club was starting to fill up. While playing a few songs, I was looking around for Lillian and her friends. I really wanted them to show up.
My face instantly lit up when I saw the short curly haired girl walk in. When we finished the song we we're playing, I told the band to play I Don't Care. Which made Lillian smile slightly and look over at me.
She was standing by a table with a drink in her hand, it looked like orange pop, but I wasn't sure. When she set it down and went to dance with her friends, my eyes followed her.
She is so beautiful and perfect. I just wish she knew that.
After the song finished she went back over to her drink and finished the cup. We were told that we could take a break, so I got up and went over to talk to her.
I gently touched her arm, making her flinch and quickly turn around.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you Lillian." My hand was nervously rubbing the back of my neck as I laughed awkwardly.
Her friends said something about getting another drink and she nodded and looked up at me. She didn't seem okay.
"It's okay, I just-" she stopped talking and put her hand to the side of her head.
"What's wrong? Are you okay?"
Her eyes were looking up at me, they looked tired and I noticed that she was having trouble standing.
"I think I need to sit down." I quickly helped her over to a seat, and sat down with her next to me.
"How are you feeling? Does your stomach hurt?" She shakes her head and looks up at me, as if struggling to keep her eyes open.
"I don't feel right, why are there two of you?" I noticed how her hands were shaking and her leg was bouncing slightly.
Quickly, I grabbed a hold of Ryan and pulled him over.
"What's wrong with her?" My voice was shaky and frantic, she looked sick.
As Ryan examined her face, he shook his head and looked over at me.
"Somebody must've drugged her, put something in her drink. Take her home Dani." He said this and nodded quickly.
Before leaving, I told Ryan to let her friends know what happened. Very gently, I picked her up and carried her outside. I didn't want her to be on my bike if she might pass out, so I looked around for a taxi.
When a taxi pulled over I carefully got in, keeping her close to me. I felt so protective over her. I just wanted her to be safe.
I told the driver my address and he took us to my place. When we got there I payed him and got out of the cab. I had a firm but gentle hold on her as I carried her inside and set her on my bed.
By now, she was out cold, I had grabbed a a chair from across my room and sat next to the bed, watching her carefully. I knew that she was still alive, I could see her breathing.
I was just hoping that she wouldn't freak out when she woke up.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
After a couple hours she finally woke up. She quickly sat up and started breathing hard, head eyes we're looking around the room frantically.
I quickly leaned over and put a gentle hand on her cheek to try and calm her down, she flinched and closed her eyes tight.
"Hey, it's okay Love, it's just me. I promise I will explain everything. Just breath."
She nodded slowly and opened her eyes, looking up at me nervously.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to freak out. I'm sorry."
"Stop apologizing so much, you're perfect Love." When I said this, I noticed her cheeks turn slightly pink.
"Sorry, I guess it's a habit. I mean. Ugh. Sorry." She was obviously getting angry at herself. "I'm so stupid."
By now I was sit across from her on the bed, looking down at her.
"Don't say that. Ever. You're perfect, like I said."
My thumb was slowly rubbing against her cheek, and I smiled when I saw her visibly relax into my touch.
Her phone chimed a couple times and it was Grace calling. I handed her phone to her and she quickly answered.
"Hey, sorry. I wasn't feeling good so Dani took me to her place." After a short pause she frowned. "She's not like that Hunter. I'm perfectly safe." She let out a small sigh and looked up at me with an apologetic smile. "I don't think I'm gonna go home tonight, I don't want my parents freaking out. I'll just tell them I'm at your house." After another pause, she looked slightly annoyed. "Relax Hunter! I won't let her touch me without my permission."
I'll admit, that kind of hurt. I want her friends to like me. But I know what they mean, I do have a reputation of fucking a lot of girls. They all gave me consent though.
"Okay bye, love you too." She hung up and sighed, rubbing her face with her hands. "I'm sorry."
I quickly shook my head, smiling slightly and tilting her head up slightly.
"You're perfect Love, it's okay."
She blushed again but quickly shook her head, as if trying to shake away her thoughts.
"I don't like girls." Was all I heard, she was mumbling quietly as she covered her face and layed back in the bed.
"Hey, relax. It's okay if you're questioning. I did the same thing when I started having feeling for a girl."
She quickly shook her head. "I'm not gay, I will never be gay. I can't be."
I let out a quiet sigh and stood up, walking over to my closet and throwing her one of my t-shirts.
This us going to be a long night, but at least I get to talk to her.
