I starred at Rascal for the second time today with wide eyes. "No... that's... that's impossible." I said my voice rising a bit. Rascal put his head down an inch and glared up at me. "He sent me to get you to come revive him." He slowly said. An idea burst into my head. "Wait if you know my Dad then do you know my Mom?" I asked my voice filled with hope. "Your Mom's my Queen." The... thing said. Rascal swipped up her again. "You pixies talk too much." He said. "Wait you're a pixie?" I asked. "What sweetie?!" Mom called from her office. Crap. "Nothing Mom!" I yelled back. I forced my voice to a whisper. "You're a pixie?" "She's annoying that's what she is!" "Shh!" I scolded. "I'm Candy!" She whisper yelled. "Wait then why are you here?" I asked her. "Your Mom sent me to get you to revive her." Candy said. "Ok I just have to revive my Dad first." I said. "No! You don't understand!" She yelled. "Shh!" I scolded again. "Where's your storybook?" She asked in a quieter voice. "Wait my storybook?" I asked walking towards my bookcase. "Rascal put her down." I said while looking through my books. I had a lot of books... that I never read. I heard Rascal sigh but then also heard little feet walking towards me. Once I found my storybook I sat down on my bed. "So what does my storybook have to do with this?" I asked. Candy grabbed the book and flipped to a page with a woman. "This is your Mom, Queen Euphoria." Candy said. She was beautiful with long flowing golden hair decorated with a winged crown and she wore a gorgeous little yellow dress.

"And..." Rascal said. I whirled around to look at him as I saw him swip up a card. "This is your Father." He had deep purple hair pulled into three pigtails and he had red glowing eyes overshadowing his pale white skin. He wore a black top with colorful buttons and light purple pants with black wings coming out of his back.

He was very different from my Mom but... it made me smile. That explains why I love evil and villains. "So what now?" I asked them both. "You have to decide which parent to revive!" Candy said. Great two parents I've never met and I have to choose which to revive. "But your Dad wants to bring an unhappy ending!" She said again. I smirked and I saw Rascal laugh. "No... no! Your Mom told me you have a pure heart... you... you can't go to the Shadow Realm!" Candy yelled. "Shh!" I scolded. "Nicole! Turn down your audio book please!" My (adoptive) Mom yelled. "Sorry Mom!" I yelled back. I turned to Candy. "I'm sorry Candy. She's right but my gut feeling is to go with Rascal." I explained in a hushed voice. "I need to go find the Glitter Force!" She said. Rascal picked up his cards and I held out my hand to stop him. "Let her go. There's no point in stopping her." I explained. He glared but again he obeyed. "Ready to go home." He asked. "Give me a second." I said as I walked to my desk. I had to write my (adoptive) parents a letter to explain.
I put down my pen. "Ok I'm ready." I said. Rascal back flipped over to me and cards surrounded us. About a second later I saw dark purple skys and dead plants everywhere.
