Glitter Force Part 2 (Redone)

Chapter 5

"Rascal!" Emily yelled.

"I knew it was only a matter of time till you silly girls would try to recruit Nicole, but that won't happen!" Rascal said and I could have sworn instead of laughter in his voice I heard... anger.

"You don't know that. Nicole can choose whichever side she wants!" Chloe yelled.

"She already has." Rascal said before throwing a card at me and teleporting me up to him. I could have stopped the card from coming but I was so stunned between the two parties arguing over me. Once I reappeared next to Rascal I looked down at the girls remembering what Rascal had said about them but then began to wonder. If the reason my father is locked away is the Glitter Force, does that mean Rascal is responsible for locking away my mother?

"Whatever!" Rascal said to the girls.
"We have no use for you girls yet anyway!" And before I knew it he threw six cards at the girls and pixie before they all dissappeared.

I walked in my room and shut my door before grabbing the picture of my father and sitting on my bed. Why? Why would those girls lock him away? Why do they both want me? I thought before Rascal popped in. Over the past month I'd gotten used to it so I just looked up at him not moving just looking. He squinted down at me.

"I need to talk with the three bafoons and I think you should come with me." He said. I set the picture down next to me.

"Okay." I said as I slowly got up. Okay Nicole time to act. Put all those plays and musicals to use. If Rascal finds out I'm flustered he'll become even more upset. Unfortunately as we were floating there Rascal looked down at me.

"Don't tell me you're considering siding with the Glitter Force." He said coldly.

"No I'm not I'm just... thinking." I said and it was the truth. I never intended to join the Glitter Force I was just flustered.

"Good." He said. As we reached our destination I saw Brute, Brooha, and Ulric were playing a game of cards. Wow that's ironic. I sarcastically thought.
(Ironic~ when the opposite of what you think will happen happens)
Rascal picked up one of his Joker cards and threw it in the middle of their game.

"Hey! What's the big idea?!" Ulric yelled.

"Yeah! I was about to win!" Brute followed.

"You wish!" Brooha countered. Rascal pulled out a black ball.

"Anyway, you'll all be delighted to know that I've brought you a little present." He said while spinning it.

"Who's birthday is it?" Brooha and Brute asked in unison.

"You've tried Red-nose Buffoons and Blue-nose Buffoons so now it's time for this. I've taken a nose and coated it in darkness." Rascal explained.

"Really?" Ulric asked growing excited. I was also quite excited too but I observed quietly.

"With this nose you can summon the Twilight Buffoon, a far stronger weapon than the others. As an added bonus you'll be able to control his actions personally. He'll do exactly what you when you want it."

"Yeah." Brooha and Brute said in unison... again. Rascal began balancing it on his hand.

"Perhaps the best part of all is the Glitter Force's Rainbow Burst won't work against him." 

"Yeah." The two goons said... Rascal's words.

"Who knows with this you might finally be able to give those school girls a fight." Rascal added. Both Brooha and Brute growled at him. I might have been scared... if I couldn't have done it better.

"Hey we've given those school girls plenty of fight!" Brute said.

"Someone doesn't think so." Rascal said. Everyone snapped to attention and I turned to see him better.

"Emperor Nogo is unhappy," He continued his voice more angry than I've ever heard before, "If you cannot defeat the Glitter Force you're of no use to him."

"Meaning what?" Brooha and Brute said.

"Yeah what they said!" Ulric said.

"Well useless things annoy the master," Rascal said as he pulled out three cards resembling the other three and snapped, "He has a way of making them disappear." The three cards burnt away and Brooha sighed in fear.

"I'm just saying." Rascal said becoming cheerful again. "So Ulric, what do you say? Do you think you'll be able to defeat the Glitter Force this time around." He began to throw the ball in the air and then threw it to Ulric. He caught it with a thud and growled.

"You can consider it done. They're Glitter history." He said as he walked away.

"Hm, let's hope so." Rascal said. I crossed my arms over my chest and slightly nodded.
