Satomi's P.O.V.
"Where is Momo?" I call out to the others who are cleaning up camp. Aang swivels his head around frantically.

"Wasn't he sleeping next to your back?" he asks.

"Yeah, but got up a while ago," I say worry beginning to lace my voice. I tighten my belt while the others call out to Momo. I jump down from Appa gracefully and begin to head out to search for the flying lemur. "He's not here. I'm going to search for Momo," I tell the others.

"Wait up," Aang says riding a ball of air over to me. "I'm coming with you," Aang says standing.

"Count me in too," Katara adds jogging to catch up to our already advancing party.

"What am I? A sack of potatoes?" Sokka asks.

"Precisely," I call back to him. He huffs out a puff of air before running to catch up with us. Sokka is not too happy to be walking. Aang and Katara walk behind him a bit, and I stay at the back of our party. I listen carefully for any sounds of a flying lemur or people. The sun is coming up painting the forest orange. I hear squawking finally. I look up ahead to find Momo hanging from a trap. "There," I say pointing to the lemur. Aang jumps up the tree and frees Momo only to find hog monkeys caught in similar traps. Aang begins to go back up the tree with assistance of air bending, but Sokka uses his boomerang to cut down all the hog monkeys in one go. Sokka catches his boomerang expertly. I raise an eyebrow. He doesn't need to learn sword play then. He will just need to learn hand to hand combat fighting. I hum. This makes my job easier. Sokka begins to inspect one of the traps and my scar prickles. Fire Nation. "So?" I ask Sokka for a second opinion.

"Fire Nation. These were definitely made by the Fire Nation. I think we should go," he says to the group. I nod agreeing.

"I agree. We should go," I say turning to the other two in our party.

"We should go by foot. Appa is too easy to spot," Sokka adds. That's true. This seems to ruffle Katara.

"Who made you the leader? If anyone should be the leader it should be Aang since he is the Avatar," Katara protests a vein beginning to bugle out of her head. She does have a point, in a way. Sokka's face hardens.

"Aang could not be our leader. He's just a goofy kid," Sokka counters.

"I agree," Aang says smiling. That is the counter point to the argument. I turn my eyes to Katara since it is her turn to retort.

"You wouldn't be so bossy if you kissed a girl," Katara says teasing her brother turning the simple argument into a sibling spat. I sigh. Here we go again.

"I have kissed a girl before. You just don't know her," Sokka retorts.

"I have met our grandmother," Katara replies. Sokka's face falls, but he is quick to recover as Aang. I watch in amusement.

"My instincts say we should walk. We have a better chance of getting through the forest unseen," Sokka says reasserting himself as leader of the group. I could care less what we do if we would only do something. I sigh as we continue walking and ignore the conversation as Katara and Aang team up against Sokka in the argument. I remain silent and neutral through the entire conversation. The talking soon stops, and I look up to find we have walked straight into a fire nation camp.

"Next time, I'm leading," I growl to the others my anger boiling over. How could they not notice a fire nation camp? I mean come on. No one can be that thick when arguing. I sigh, only these three can, and I'm stuck with them. I huff out a puff of air. The trio tries to run, but I leap over the opposing soldiers as he sets the bushes behind them alight. I sweep his legs out from under him and turn back to take out another solider when he suddenly falls flat on his face. I quickly find the other fighter, and the back of my neck prickles at the sight of him. I narrow my eyes and dodge a blow from a solider. I stomp my foot on the ground shaking the earth beneath him and two others causing them to fall. I smile at my work before ducking as one of the fighter's hooks reaches to pull my hood back. I use my position to sweep his legs out from under him, and before he can get to his feet I draw my sword and place it to his neck. I assure that the fire nation soldiers have fled before locking my eyes on to the stranger's. My neck prickles just looking at him.
