We started trekking an hour ago, northwards, since Kyle saw a shack there. Oh, and I'm so bored to death, I wish that another cyborg would pop out of nowhere so that I would have something to do - whoops. Just jinxed it.

A cyborg that looked a lot like the one Kaira was dancing with just appeared. Actually, it is! And how do I know that? Same clothes, no gloves, head bashed in from when I had battled it.

"Kyle, Kaira, look! It's the cyborg that I defeated that day at the school dance!"

Kaira seemed to understand immediately, though Kyle looked confused. I have to explain that to him later. Or maybe Kaira can...it'll give them some bonding time.

Anyway, the three of us start battling the cyborg in high speed; we probably looked like blurs. I delivered the killing blow to its brain, hitting the internal chip. It breaks in half and falls onto the ground, and instantly the cyborg dropped.

I have an idea when I see it, so I grab the cyborg's chip and slip it into my pocket. We started trekking again. The silence was getting awkward, so I decided to tell Kaira my theory that I had formulated about the same cyborg's reappearance. Kyle wouldn't understand anyways, so I didn't tell him.

"Listen, Kaira, I had a theory about why the same cyborg was there. The enemy who took the page in the book must've taken his internal chip and reprogrammed him, so that it had the same memories as before, and so the same target as before - you. I took its internal chip so that it can't be reprogrammed again." Kaira examined the chip in my hand and flipped it around. "Hey, Charlie, look! There's something written here!" We both leaned forward to see what was written and ended up bumping our heads. "Ouch!" We said at the same time. We looked at each other for just a millisecond and burst out laughing. Kyle looked over at us, his eyebrows raised. "Hey, anything I'm missing?"

"Not a single thing dude, not a single thing."

"Again?"

"Stop talking with me!"

"Stop it!"

We were talking in sync again! I know, it's just so cray-cray! And I picked that word up from Kaira, if you were wondering.

Kyle stared at us. "You guys are just cool, weird, and cute at the same time," he muttered.

We leaned down and tried so see what was written on the chip together. It read, 'Operation Memory Transfer & Reprogramming'. We looked at each other, realizing that I was right in my theory. By that time, we had reached the shack. I knock hesitantly, hiding my weapons, seeing that Kaira and Kyle had done the same. An old woman opened the door. She looks at us tiredly and says, "More mages, eh?"
