After the weekend and that ever so perfect kiss, that just the mere thought of caused Rosie to blush immensely and heat up from head to toe, not to mention the undeniable butterflies that fluttered around in her stomach each and every time she relayed the perfect moments in eat head, Rosie hadn't at all seen Ash. In fact she hadn't even heard from him, no texts, no phone calls, nothing.

Rosie however could not let this get to her as she had a really important English Lit exam coming up, and since it was one of her favourite A Level subjects she needed to get a good grade in it in order to continue to do it in year thirteen next year.

Sighing Rosie placed her phone down onto her bedside table next to her as she flopped down onto her bed, slamming her text book shut and throwing her pen across her room in frustration due to the stress that this latest exam was causing her. As she did so her nose began to sniffle a little, and yet another chest racking cough flooded through her body.

"Just bloody great!" Rosie exclaimed to herself heaving an exasperated sigh as she did so "A bloody cold is all I need right now" She huffed, blowing her nose into a tissue before moving herself into an upright position. Surveying her room she decided that she needed to tidy up, all of her clothes were just strewn across the room and as for her mock exam papers, don't even start on them, Rosie thought to herself.

"Rosie would you get your arse down here and help me get your brother ready for school please?!" Her Mum's shrill voice sounded out from downstairs disturbing the quiet of the house that Rosie seaked and needed right at that moment in time.

"Coming Mum!" Rosie shouted in reply her voice cracking slightly, another body shaking cough tumbling from within her.

"Soooo my beautiful darlin', how was your weekend?" Jessie drawled as all of the group walked into school together

"It was just fine thank you" Rosie smiled weakly at her best friend not really wanting to talk much, her head was throbbing intensely and her eyes and nose just wouldn't stop watering.

"Ooh, did you see Ash again then honey?" Jessie pressed totally misreading Rosie's disinterest in any kind of communication at that given moment

"Uhh yeah" Rosie dead panned in between yet another chest racking cough.

Sensing that Rosie wasn't in the best of moods and not feeling particularly well Aliyah interjected, "I heard something about you and Nicky here Jessie dear."

"Oh uhm, uhhh, I uh I gotta get something, so I guess I'll see ya'll later in class" Jessie blushed a deep rosy pink before practically running away to hide from her friends and what she knew we're going to be relentless questions to come.

"Thanks Aliyah" Rosie attempted to smile through her watery eyes, which was much to her avail as it ended up resembling more of a grimace than a smile.

"No problem love" Aliyah smiled at her friend taking her hand slightly concerned for her well being "Are you sure that you should be in school today hon? You don't look so good" she asked, squeezing her hand in order to comfort her some more.

"I don't really have much of a choice now do I?" Rosie snapped before catching herself "I'm sorry Aliyah, it's just that my English Lit exam is today so I can't exactly miss it. I'll solider through it don't worry."

Rosie squeezed her friend's hand in return, feeling grateful for her concern and comforting manner which is just  what she needed right now. However she did wish she could get it from Ash right at that moment, but he seemed to disappeared from the face of the Earth it seemed.
