This kiss was unlike all the others. It was full of passion, desire and an unsettling euphoria. Rosie couldn't place in her mind why she was feeling this way and she couldn't care less. With Ash hypnotising her physically, she didn't want to let him go. Her hands, adjoined at the back of his neck, slid up to roam through his untamed, golden hair. She felt Ash pull her much closer by trapping his arms around her waist. One second was spared to breathe before their lips were reconnected. Rosie felt Ash tug at her bottom lip with his teeth. She revelled in the feeling.

As quick as the pleasure came, it disappeared and was replaced with a sharp pain. Ash had bitten her lip a little too hard. Before Rosie could pull away or even scream in pain, a mocking tone resonated through the kitchen.

"Don't eat each other," Zach teased, his eyes glinting with the mischief in his tone.

They both pulled back in shock.

Ash caught the underlying meaning of his joke and found himself back in the room. He was no longer lusting after Rosie's blood. Realisation crashed down. He bit Rosie on her lip. He had consumed a little more than a drop of her blood.

"Rosie, dear, I think it's time you went home," Zach advised. He leaned against the doorframe, his expression now meaning business.

Rosie licked her lips and felt like yelling at Zach. However she was too confused at what had happened with Ash. It felt so good but then... she could feel her lips swelling. She wanted to stay.

"Go, now," he ordered, his eyes trapping hers. "Jessie's outside. She'll take you back to school."

Rosie found herself complying. She left without even saying goodbye. What was she doing? She walked out feeling frustrated but she knew that if someone looked at her they would only see a neutral expression. Sure enough, Jessie was waiting outside in her car. Rosie sat in the passenger seat feeling like she was able to breathe again.

"Are you okay, hun?" Jessie asked, glancing at her every so often during their journey back to school.

Rosie nodded, trying to convince herself more than Jessie. "Can you take me home instead?" She asked.

Ash waited until her heard the door close before speeding to his brother. In a flash, he grabbed Zach collar of his shirt and threw him to the wall on the other side of the kitchen. His canines were out now in pure anger.

"You've been compelling my girlfriend?" He yelled speeding up to Zach to push him to the far end of the kitchen. Ash could tell the compulsion was strong. Zach was metres away from her and she was under his spell.

Zach laughed and sat up, feeling out of breath. "If it makes you feel any better I'm compelling her friend too," he said as if it were more assuring.

Ash sped to Zach and kicked him in the gut. "Stay away from her," he threatened dragging his older brother up by his collar and throwing him through the door.

"Who, Jessie?" Zach laughed and stood up. "I didn't know country girl was your type."

"You know I mean Rosie." Ash walked out of the kitchen to find Zach clutching his right side where Ash had kicked multiple times. "What do you want with her anyway? First Christmas and now this..."

"What makes you think I want her?" Zach raised his eyebrow questioningly.

Ash scoffed and crossed his arms. "Why else would you be compelling her?" He asked. He felt disgusted that his brother was using her- toying with her. Ash wasn't all that innocent as he had compelled her once...

"If I wanted something from that petty human girl, I would've gotten it already," Zach told Ash, hauling himself to the living room so he could sit down.
