"So, what do you guys do for fun?" I asked nonchalantly, pressing my glasses up to my face again. I looked between both men either side of me, who we're as motionless as two boulders. The driver also decided not to respond, so I slumped back into my chair. "Alright then..." I mumbled under my breath. The silence (minus the rumble of the engine and the scratching of rubber against asphalt) was interrupted quickly by a phone call to the driver. He picked up his phone, swiping to answer. He pressed it up to his ear and began speaking a language I didn't really know.
"Ja, är pojken här." He said quite clearly. I didn't know what it meant but it was probably regarding me. After a few more head nods and mumbles of agreement, he ended the call with. "Ja sir. Vi kommer att tala senare." He moved the phone from his ear and threw it to the passenger seat beside him. "The boy. Does he have a contact?" The driver asked, looking at me through the rear view mirror. I laughed nervously.
"I'm sorry I don't know what you mean..." I replied smiling awkwardly. The red haired man sat to my side looked over and pointed to my pockets.
"Do you have a phone?" He asked, making me think for a second. I was about to say no when he spoke again. "If you lie you will face consequences." He added, making me feel a little sweaty on my palms. I nodded, reaching into my coat pocket. Tyler had given me one for emergencies. I pulled it out and showed it to the man sat to the left of me."No phones allowed, they will trace it." He stated, the green haired man nodding in agreement. I held the phone flat in my palm as he reached for it and put it into his pocket, zipping it up. I was still not fully understanding what was happening. It's that rush of adrenaline and living in the moment before actually realising what's happened. So I let them do whatever they wanted, I didn't know the consequences, and frankly didn't want to face them.
I looked out of the tinted windows to see fields and factories, warehouses and abandoned land. The view was soon taken away as the green haired man slid across a curtain. I turned to see out the other window, but the red haired man was already closing it. The car suddenly skid right and I felt my hands grip on to my seatbelt as I swung to the left. "We walk from here." The driver said, whilst taking the keys out of the engine.
Only then did I realise I was the only one WITH a seatbelt on, but it was a little late to tell them about that. We all exited the car, the keys being handed to someone who was waiting for us on the outside. The servant snivelled and wobbled his way over to drive the car off. He didn't exactly look like a Royal, but you can't judge a book by its cover. "The boy, he can not know the location." The blonde haired man stared while we stood on the other side of a wire fence.
The red haired man pulled off his neckerchief and began to try and place it around my eyes. I quickly raised my arms and pushed him away. "No! Why do I have to wear one of those!?" I shrieked while moving backwards. "Do not retaliate!" The man demanded, once again trying to blindfold me. I fell backwards into the arms of the green haired man who took grip on my shoulders. I twisted out of his grip and pushed him back. I then went for the red haired man and used one of his arms to flip him over, a technique Tyler had taught me.
He fell on the floor, my phone tumbling out of his pocket. I dived for it, wanting to get to it before the guards could touch me. One of them kicked it out of my reach before grabbing my arms and pulling them around my back. "What is this!?" I shouted angrily. Another one of them stood on my legs so I could not kick out at them.
"Sedate him." The blonde one said, and before I could process what that meant, a cloth was wrapped around my mouth.~~~~
