♪ I was born by the river,
In a little tent.
And just like that river,
I been running ever since.
It's been a long,
A long time coming,
But I know,
A change gone come...♪
*Sunni's POV*
I looked down at the grave stones before me. The first two were lined up next to each other and the third one was off more into the distance.
It had only been two months since that night. Everyday what happened in that abandoned house in Korea haunts me.
This isn't a fairy tale. This is real life. You can't win every battle without a fatality. I just wish I could go back to that night and end it a little different.
*FLASHBACK*
"You better not touch her, you son of a bitch!" I heard a familiar voice yell. I had waken up. Something allowed me to wake up.
"Daddy! Daddy, please!" I screamed. I knew it was him. The lord had answered my prayers.
The whole group had entered the room. I wanted to feel relieved and happy but I was too ashamed of my appearance. My hair was all over my head. I was now fully naked and sweaty. The blood. The blood was still there. I pressed my legs together which didn't help at all.
"Don't come a step closer!" Darryl yelled pointing his gun towards all of them. I couldn't look. The shame wouldn't let me.
NoNo quickly shot Darryl in the arm making him drop his gun. Darryl fell to the floor yelling in pain.
"How could you do this?! You sick motherfucker!" some Hispanic man yelled running up to him.
"I trusted you! They trusted you!"
Anya ran to the bed and untied me. I inspected my wrists that were bruised and bloody from the constant irritation. She hugged me and I could tell she was fighting back her tears. I took the sheets and tried my best to clean my legs and privates.
"I need a shirt," I told her. She grabbed a random shirt from off the floor and I put it on. It came down to my knees but I was still uneasy.
Anya helped me off the bed and as soon as my feet touched the floor, I crumbled to he ground. Woo ran to help me and picked me up.
Darryl was still on the ground screaming. There was no sight of Errin and the rest.
"You cowardly bitch!" my father yelled blasting two shots into both of his legs.
I heard noise coming from the front of the house but I was the only one that noticed.
"He didn't do this all by himself!" I yelled.
As soon as that last word left my mouth, the door was swung open by Errin.
This caught the attention of everyone leaving Darryl unattended.
If only I would've said something in time. Darryl grabbed his gun and aimed it at the nearest person. Mama.
"Mama! Watch out!" I yelled. It was too late. He had already fired two bullets. One in her back and one through her left shoulder. She hit the floor and all hell broke loose.
"MOMMMMY!!!" I screamed.
Anya pulled out her gun and blasted Darryl three times in the head. He was, without a doubt, dead.
