Chapter 2:

Cody:

I sighed as I stumbled along in my own little buble. Lexie. I had only just met her and I already thought she was so sweet, beautiful and perfect AND she stood up to Dana,That was so funny! I wish I had been there! She was quiet all day, that's never happened before, Dana, quiet! I thought while walking through the wide, nearly empty hallway of the school to my next class I was in the middle of daydreaming when I was violently shoved so hard I fell to the ground. the fourth time I'd fallen that day, I'm not the most elegant of people, to be fair. I looked up and saw Clyde, Dana's boyfriend was standing over me and laughing. Had I been speaking laughing about Dana out loud? I rolled my eyes

'go away, Clyde, what's up with you, you idiot!' I yelled at him, he looked surprised and raised his eyebrow at my out-of-character behaviour. Tyrah and Max came around the corner and glared at Clyde behind his back. Tyrah put a hand on her hip. If she were a tiger or something that would be her attack stance.

'For God's sake, Clyde, leave him alone,' Max said, Tyrah was too quiet for that, but glared at him, which from her is the worst language and the hardest punch. Clyde was about to reply when he caught sight of Tyrah's soul-chilling glare. He rolled his eyes and stalked off. Max and Tyrah helped me up. She stuck her middle finger at his back

'that son of a-' Tyrah commented and stared after Clyde.

'I know' I sighed. To change the subject Max smirked

'Tyrah did you know . . . Cody has a crush on the new girl?!' Tyrah looked at me wide eyed, this was the kind of news she thrived on.

'ooh! really? I saw her she's real pretty!' she teased me and poked me in the ribs I went to dodge but tripped again. I cursed to myself. I gave her a dirty look

'I'll get you back someday, Tyrah, remember that!' I warned and jumped up. I grabbed her hair and tugged it playfully, she still screeched really loudly and ran the rest of the way to class. Max and I followed slowly not worried about being late. We took our seats and let the teacher drone on about the atmosphere, but zoned out. I started scribbling random shapes in the corner of my copy and yawned repeatedly

The next class was maths and Lexie was in my class again. I asked Tyrah to sit with her, they seemed to get on great; first the shy introduction then the laughing then the talking all through class then an offer to sit with us at lunch. After that was lunch Max and Tyrah nearly chocked with laughter at the way I acted in front of Lexie, of course. I tripped and spilt my water, then I hit my knee off the table ,then I went to put rest my elbow on the table and missed the table. She laughed at me too. She, of course, thought it was hilarious . She thought Tyrah was sweet, Max was cheeky and I was friendly. Apparently.
