Chapter 31

                                                       *Toni's POV*

*Beep-Beep-Beep*

I slowly opened my eyes and looked to my right to see the loud ass alarm clock going crazy on my nightstand. I lazily turned it off and slowly got up and began my morning routine. I wouldn't normally wake up at 5:00 am but I wanna get an early start in the studio and get there before anyone else does. I decided to stop by Starbucks to get my usual before going to the studio.

*At the Studio*

My plan was very successful, by the time I got there all the lights were off and it was silent. I went and got the key to my booth and went in. I got comfortable, dimmed the lights, and began recording. I stepped in the booth with my song book and began singing Shadowless like my life depended on it. After saving that track, I began singing Stupid, Sposed To Be and my personal favorite Trippin. After putting the finishing touches on the tracks, I saved them to give to my producers later. Since I was finished and no one was there, I locked up, put my key back on the display and turned the lights back off.

When I got home it was 11:00, so I decided to sit and watch tv. As soon as I turned the tv on, my phone rang. Ugh, right when I got comfortable. I said rolling my eyes while getting up and running to get my phone. I glanced at the caller ID and seen LOML🌎💍💕. I quickly answered my phone and ken began talking before I could even say hello.

"Listen Toni, I don't know what has gotten into me. I just know I don't wanna spend another day without you. I'm so sorry" He confessed.

"Come over, I wanna talk" I quickly responded and hung up.

Twenty minutes later, I heard a knock at the door. I ran to open it and jumped in his arms before he could step into the house. I began planting kisses all over his face.

"Tone-" He managed to say between kisses.

"I missed you so much, it felt like eternity without you" I said while closing the door and leading him to the couch.

We sat facing each other in silence. "So" We both said in unison. "Toni, listen I don't wanna fight or be upset anymore. I don't want to lay in bed alone wishing you were there lying next to me. I don't want to see tears in your eyes anymore and I don't want you to suffer and be alone all because I can't control my temper." He declared.

"Ken it wasn't your fault, I was the one that wasn't giving you 100% affection. I mean a relationship is supposed to be built on trust and honesty, but I wasn't being honest about how I felt. The truth is I really do love you and I couldn't see myself being with or loving anyone else but the man sitting in front of me." She admitted.

They both got up and hugged each other. Ken hugged her tight and rested his chin on her head. Toni wrapped her arms around his waist and rested her head on his chest. "I missed you fun size" He said with his arms still around her. "I missed you too gramps." She said with her eyes closed and a smile spread across her face. "You tired?" He said looking down at her. "Mmhmm" She said softly while nodding her head. "Let's get you to bed". He said while lifting her bridal style and taking her to her room. He put her down in the bed and walked towards the door. "KENNNNN" She whined. "What babe" He said turning away from the door. "Stay with me" She begged. "But I'm not tired" He laughed. "Ok then just lay in here and watch tv" She replied while handing him the remote. "Fine, but I have to get Peyton from school soon" He said taking his shoes off and snuggling next to Toni. "Ok wake me up when you do because I wanna go" She said with her eyes closed. "Good night sleepy head" He said wrapping his arms around her.
