"Oh Peyton, come out come out wherever you are" I said while slowly creeping around the corner with four water balloons in my hands.
"I know you're here, I can smell the fear on you." I said looking into the guest room.
"Ok one...two...three GET HIM" Toni signaled Peyton. They rushed into the guest room after Ken and raided him with countless water balloons.
"AHHH THE WATER'S SO COLD" I shouted trying to throw one back but just dropping it on himself. "Wait, Peyton seize fire." She instructed.
"Do you surrender?" She asked still holding her balloon up in defense. "Yea, do you?" Peyton yelled throwing another balloon in his face.
"Peyton?!? I said seize fire" She said laughing at a soaking wet Kenny standing in front of her. "Sorry, I couldn't help it. He's just such an easy target." She said giggling.
"Yes I surrender." I muttered. "YAY...we did it Peyton, we conquered the giant" Toni exclaimed while leading the victory dance to the living room.

"I'll show them." I whispered while filling his water gun with ice water. "GIRLS RULE BOYS AHHHH" Peyton screamed while getting blasted. "DADDYYYY, IT'S COLD" She complained.
"Ken stop shoo- AHHHH THAT WATER IS FREEZING" She said running away from him. "Don't run now, what happened to girls rule and boys drool" I said chasing her. "LEAVE ME ALONE THAT WATER IS TOO COLD" She responded while hiding in her bedroom closet. "Toni if you come out with your hands up, I won't shoot" I said standing in front of the closet door.
"I don't know what you're talking about. Nobody's in here." She said from inside of the closet. "I gave you a chance, now you gotta get wet." I told her while opening the closet door. Toni winced at the sight of the door opening. "WAIT MY CLOTHES ARE IN HERE, I DON'T WANNA GET THEM WET" She told him while standing at gun point. "Ok I won't shoot" I said. "If...you take Peyton to school every morning for a year." I demanded . As soon as he said that, Peyton slowly crept up behind him with a gun pointed at him. "Um ok fine but can I ask you something?" She asked. "What?" I asked. "How does it feel to be defeated by two girls that are shorter than you?" As soon as she said that, Peyton began spraying him while Toni ran out of the closet, got her water balloons and continued to throw them at Kenny.
"AHHH WHY IS THE WATER SO DAMN COLD?" I yelled in terror. "Put your gun down and surrender" Peyton said. "Ok I give up" I said doing as I was told. "Yay we did it" Toni said while taking his gun. "Now who wants ice cream?" She asked while grabbing towels for everyone. "MEEEEE" Peyton screamed while putting the guns back. "Me too" I said while drying off. "Fine but no sprinkles, only winners get sprinkles" Peyton said High-fiving Toni. "That's right" Toni giggled. "Oh really?" I said while picking them up and throwing them over my shoulder. Toni's POV "Who gets sprinkles now?" He asked while spinning us around. "Ok ok" Peyton said while giggling uncontrollably. "Ken, put me down" I yelled while laughing my head off. "That's what I thought" He said while throwing us on the bed and walking out. "Don't worry I'll trip him and make him drop his ice cream later." I said to Peyton. "You girls ready" Ken yelled from the living room. "Yes" We said in unison. * "Aw man Toni you made me drop my ice cream" He said looking at his pile of chocolate ice cream (with sprinkles) melting on the hot sidewalk. "My bad...it was an accident" I said looking at Peyton who was laughing hysterically. "Did you two plan this" He questioned watching them laugh at him.
"Now why would we plan you dropping your ice cream?" Toni said enjoying her ice cream. "Yea daddy we know how much you were enjoying your sprinkles" She added picking the gummy bears out of her frozen treat. "Well now you guys have to give me half of yours." He said lifting his spoon. "WHAT" Peyton exclaimed. "NO WE DON'T" I shouted moving his spoon away from my ice cream. "Yea you do. That's the rule"
"What rule, I never heard of this" Peyton said opening the door and getting in the backseat quickly. Kenny was forced to listen to Toni and Peyton brag about how good their ice cream was the entire ride home. * "Ken, I drew Peyton a bath and put her to bed already" I said while walking into the bathroom. "Wait, where are you going?" He asked her while laying on the bed. "To Narnia. Where do you think I'm going?" I replied sarcastically. "Oh ok, let me get my towel" He said while hurriedly getting off the bed. "Woah, you're not showering with me."
"Yea I am" He said walking past her to the bathroom. "Ken get out" I demanded. "No I'm not leaving." He said crossing his arms over his chest. "Fine then I'll use the guest bathroom." I said rolling her eyes and gathering her things.
* I stepped out of the bathroom and slipped right into bed next to Ken. I was so exhausted and all I wanted to do in that moment was sleep.
"Are you ok?" Ken asked while looking at me. "Yes Ken I'm fine" I sighed with my eyes still closed. "Are you sure because I just feel like I did something." He said. "Ken if you did something, then I'm pretty sure you would know about it. I'm exhausted and all I wanna do is sleep." I ranted while turning away from him.
"Sorry...I was just worried about you." He murmured. As exhausted as I was, I did everything but sleep. I mean how could I? I felt awful for lashing out on Ken like that. It wasn't his fault, he was just being considerate like he always was. I don't know why I've been so moody lately🤔.
