Chapter 46

"OH MY GOD...BRIAN?!?!" I exclaimed while staring at his smiling face.

"Leaving so soon?" He asked walking towards me.

"Oh...um...I was just..."

"Waiting for a ride?" He laughed not keeping his eyes off of me.

"Ha ha" I laughed awkwardly, trying not to make eye contact.

"Come inside...i'll make breakfast" He offered while holding his hand out for mine.

"Oh no...I uh gotta go"

"Come on...breakfast can't hurt" He said with his hand still out.

I glanced at the ground, then in the distance to be sure my ride wasn't just arriving....No ride. Just as I was about to decline his offer and just call one of my sisters to get me instead, guess what decided to start growling like a wild animal. At that point, I couldn't say no.

"fine" I agreed with a smile, placing my hand in his.

He led me through his huge mansion and eventually made it to the kitchen. I sat on one of the bar stools while he grabbed the food from the fridge. As he disappeared behind the fridgerator door I couldn't help but to reminisce on last night. Yeah, I don't remember most of it, but the parts I do remember was enough to make my legs shake. No Toni you don't need to be thinking about last night, it was a HUGE mistake. No matter how Ken and I feel about each other right now, we still love each other.

"I'm going to make you my famous french toast" He finally said peeking his head out of the fridge with arms full of ingredients.

"Oh Brian I don't know if i'll be able to-"

"it'll be quick I promise" He assured me.

Two hours and an amazing foot rub later i was being escorted outside to my Uber.

"I had an amazing night and morning and I hope to see you again" Brian said to me while holding the car door open for me.

"So did I and thank you for the breakfast" I told him.

Please don't try to kiss me, Please don't try to kiss me. I silently thought as I felt two soft and full lips against mine.

"Bye babe" He said closing the door as the car drove off.

OH MY GOD...what just happened? Does he think we're dating or something? What will I tell Ken? As these puzzling questions were spiraling in my head, the driver said the last thing I wanted to hear.

"You and your boyfriend make a cute couple"

"Oh he's not my boyfriend" I corrected him.

"Really? You guys sure do look like a couple." He said turning the radio back up.

When I arrived home all I seen was four cars in the driveway and that's when I knew I fucked up.

I slowly walked to the front door and slowly unlocked the door like I was breaking into the place. I sneakily peered through the door and eyeballed the room...Ok the coast is clear.

I then took a big breathe and scurried up the stairs and ran to my room before my sisters found me. I made it to my room and quickly shut the door behind me and pressed my ear to it to hear if they heard the door close. Silence. I let out a heavy sigh and took my shoes off.

"Hiding from someone?" Tamar said as I jumped out of my skin.

"OH MY GOSH...don't scare me like that" I exclaimed clutching my chest and trying to calm myself.

"Where have you been Toni?" Trina asked.

"Ummm...Uhhh" I mumbled trying to think of something to say.

"I can answer that question" Tamar said, getting up and eyeing Toni down.

"And how can you do that" I nervously asked.

"Because No one, and I mean no one can pull one over Detective Tamar"

"Oh please" Towanda groaned while rolling her eyes.

"Oh please what Wanda"

"Anybody can tell where Toni was by just looking at her"

"wh-what do you mean?" I stuttered looking down at myself.

"I mean you look rough girl...which means one thing"

"What's that?" I asked not wanting her to expose me for the cheater I am.

"It means you met up with Ken and you two made up and got freaky last night." She said flipping her hair and patting herself on the back.

"WRONG, WRONG WRONGITY WRONG" Tamar shouted getting back up

"I called Face this morning to see if Toni was over there and he said he hasn't seen her since their fight...which means miss Toni did in fact get freaky last night...but not with Face" Tamar revealed.

"No...no Toni would never cheat on Face" Trina said.

"Yea Toni tell Tamar she's wrong...as usual" Towanda said.

"I...I uh...Didn't mean to" I broke down in tears.

"Toni noooo...don't tell me you-" Traci pleaded.

All I could do was simply nod my head and stare at the floor in shame. As I watched the tears drop from the tip of my nose all I felt were arms wrapped around me. And that's when I knew. I knew no matter how bad the choices I made or how ashamed of myself I am, I can always count on my sisters to be there to comfort me in my time of need...no matter what.
"Now why the hell would you do this" Tamar snapped, ending the sweet moment.

"Well that was short" I responded feeling a little better.

"Ok...well after I had a few drinks..." I continued to tell them the story detail after detail and in the end all I heard from them was:
"Oh...my...god" They said in unison with their mouths gaped open in disbelief.

"Wait, Brian????" They asked.

"Yep" I answered

"As in birdman???" They questioned.

"Yea" I answered.

"As in-"

"Yes yes yes...Birdman the rapper" I answered in frustration.

"Please don't tell anyone. I just want to forget this ever happened and move on with my life" I confessed.

"Ok...ok we won't tell" They agreed.

"Promise?" I asked looking at them cautiously.

"Promise" They all replied with assurance.
