Chapter 25

Toni Braxton
I was sitting on the couch in Kenny's shirt, moping around the house like a depressed person, when I heard someone open my front door and run all the way to me yelling "TOOOOOONNNIIIIII". I automatically knew who it was.

"Hey tayme" I said sadly while wiping my tears.

"Hey Toni Braxton living lege-" She stopped mid sentence and immediately went to hug and comfort her sister.

"What happened...who hurt my sister?" She finally said while still latched on to Toni.

"Well Kenny and I are separated for the time being because he thinks I kissed his brother-"

"WELL DID YOU?" Tamar said alarmingly.

"We did kiss, but he kissed me and I pulled away as soon as he did it. Peyton seen us kissing and told Kenny and then he left and hasn't talked to me since." Toni stated with tears flowing down her face.

"Wow Tone, I'm sorry to hear that. I know how much you two love each other."

"It's fine...I'm good...he wants to be like this and not even hear me out and just leave, then it's fine...I don't care." Toni stated unconvincingly.

"Toni, you know you still love him and he still loves you, you need to talk to him."

"I don't love him anymore and I don't want to see him ever again."

"Then why have you been crying and moping around your house for a week straight and why are you wearing his shirt right now?"

"Firstly, I have not been moping around, I've been busy with work and stuff. Secondly, it's laundry day and this is all I could find" She said looking at the shirt sentimentally.

"Yea, right. Come on get dressed, I'm taking you somewhere." She said while trying to lift Toni off of the couch.

"Noooo...I don't wanna go anywhere Tamar" She said while stretching out on the couch.

"Come on Tone get up, it will make you feel better I promise."

"Fine, I'll go but only because my favorite show just went off." She stated while going to get dressed.

Tamar asked me to go over to Kenny's to try and get him and Toni to see and speak to each other again. Vince knocked on the door and Kenny opened it.

"Hey wassup man" Vince said while doing their handshake.

"Nothing much just going through some stuff with Toni, that's all"

"Aw man, what happened?"

"Well I was at Toni's place talking to Peyton, then out of nowhere she tells me that she seen Toni and Kevon kiss when he dropped her off. I stormed out and haven't seen or talked to her since."

"Wow, did he kiss her or did she kiss him?"

"Well I don't know but my brother Kevon tells me that she kissed him out of nowhere."

"But you don't know for sure"

"No not entirely"

"I think you should have talked to her first, instead of just storming off like that."

"I mean I know it was a weak minded decision but I was mad and I felt betrayed... I just couldn't stand to be with her at that time."
