Gotta Catch em All! - Markiplier

It was a beautiful day in (Your City). It wasn't normally like this during the summer. It'd always be to hot or pouring buckets outside, leaving you cooped up. Not that you were complaining. Most of the time you preferred to watch YouTube or Netflix for hours at a time, then scroll through Tumblr or your other social media. After all, why would a fangirl need to go out into the real world unless food was needed?
That was before the biggest game of the year was released. That's right. Pokemon Go was your new addiction. Although you hated the fact that you had to go outside and actually WALK in order to play, it was fun to get to achieve your childhood dreams of becoming a Pokemon master!
People everywhere were playing it! All around where you were currently walking, people were on their phones, occasionally stopping to catch pokemon or to battle at a gym.
Even YouTube was filled with Pokemon Go videos! There was one gamer you loved, though, who had yet to upload a video of a Pokemon play through. Mark.
You knew he played. He posted pictures about it and even said he was on Team Instinct (you were Team Mystic like Jack). But you couldn't help but appreciate how Mark hadn't fallen into the trap of doing Pokemon Go play throughs. It had started getting annoying honestly.
You had just stopped walking and sat down in a coffee shop, ordering a (favorite coffee/beverage). It just happened to be that this particular shop was also a PokeStop, meaning every 5 minutes you could get more stuff from it. Plus someone even set up a Lure!
You sat down with your drink, and got the game on again. There was 5 Pokemon that had all shown up at once, and you knew you had to catch them fast before the game glitched(again).
While in the middle of trying to catch a stupid Zubat(who wouldn't stay still!), someone tapped your shoulder.
"Excuse me? Mind if I sit here? Everywhere else is full." A deep voice said. You looked up and realized just how crowded the coffee shop was. Then you saw the man standing behind the chair across from you.
He was young, maybe mid twenties. He had glasses nd bright red hair. He wore bright yellow gloves that matched his shoes. Everything else he wore was black, with hints of yellow throughout. Then it clicked. This wasnt just some stranger. This was the infamous Markiplier Fischbach!
You nodded, unable to form correct words. When he smiled and actually sat across from you, you had to hold back a squeal of excitement.
"I'm Mark. What's your name?" He asked, setting his drink and phone down on the table.
"I know. I mean, my name is (Y/N), but I know your name is Mark. I'm not a stalker or anything I just really love - I mean I watch your videos and I'm a fan of yours but I'm cool. Well you're cooler, but...um.....yeah. Nice to meet you."
Real smooth there (Y/N)... You thought to yourself, you cheeks heating up. He simply laughed softly.
"Its nice to meet you too (Y/N). You're fine. Really. It's always nice to meet fans." His phone vibrated and he picked it up. "YES! FINALLY SOMETHING OTHER THAN A STUPID PIDGEY!" he exclaimed, grinning. He looked up at you and blushed a little. "Sorry. Um....pokemon." he muttered, messing with his phone. You pulled yours out too.
"I play too. You're good. Also, sorry to say but um..." you showed him your character screen. He looked at it and gasped, dramatically grabbing where his heart is.
"But I thought I could trust you! You traitor! Teaming with my potato loving, beer chugging friend and not me!"
You laughed. "Hey! Don't insult Jackiboy like that! We could both take you down with ease!" This time he laughed.
"Probably could, cause again, all I keep finding are stupid pidgeys!!!"
You both laughed and continued playing and talking until the shop was about to close. You found out he was heading to Vidcon in New York and decided to leave early to see some new places in the country. The manager finally kicked you both out, and the 2 of you stood outside.
"Thanks for everything Mark. You made me the happiest person by simply being here and letting me meet you and talk to you. Never stop YouTube." You said, pulling him into a hug. He hugged back and smiled, slipping you a piece of paper.
"We should do this again sometime. Maybe you can come to LA next. But I should get back to my hotel. See ya around, (Y/N)." With that, he turned and heading the opposite direction of where you were going. With a grin, you walked back towards your house, Mark's number in hand. Who would've thought that Pokémon would be what introduced you to your lifelong best friend.
