You're reading and Levi reads with you over your shoulder

  Finally home. 

  You went to bathroom first, stepping out of your dirty Survey Corps uniform and hopping into the warm shower, sighing at the feeling of the dirt and grime getting washed off. Oh how you missed the shower, and being clean. You washed quickly before going to change into something comfortable. 

  You've been out for a week or more, riding with the Survey Corps. First as just a regular run, then as soon as your group was about to enter the gates, had to turn around to find Eren. He had been taken by the Colossal Titan and the Armored Titan until the Corps managed to find him and bring him home. Not before some weird stuff happened though of course. Which we are not going to go into. Thinking of everything that happened and trying to make sense of it made your head hurt. More time to process is all you needed, you thought. 

  But now you were home, and you were going to focus on relaxing and taking a well deserved break from horse riding and fighting. 

  You went over and flopped on your bed, sighing happily and pulling the blanket around you. 

  A knock at the door broke you out of your trance. "(Y/N)?" You heard from the other side of the door before it opened. You smiled at the face of your Squad Captain aka your boyfriend, Levi Ackerman. You smiled at him and held your arms out to him like a small child, wanting a hug. He smirked and shook his head. "I need to clean myself up first and do laundry. My uniform is a mess." He blew you a kiss and walked into the bathroom to clean up, leaving you pouting. 

   Well I'll just have to entertain myself until he comes back then I suppose... You reached over to your night stand next to the bed and grabbed the current book you were reading. You opened it to where the bookmark was (cause the corner folding method is evil), and started reading. Within minutes you were fully immersed in the fictional land of your novel. You didn't hear when Levi came out, or notice he was just then putting his shirt on, nor did you hear the washing machine when it started. 

   In fact, you didn't give any attention to Levi until you felt the bed sink beside you, messing up your comfortable reading position. 

   "Leviiiii..." you grumble, readjusting so you could continue reading. He pulled you close, your head resting on his arm now, so he could turn your book so he could read the title.

   "You're rereading this one again (Y/N)?" He chuckled slightly, both at the fact this was your 4th time reading this particular book, and at the fact that you had tuned him out again. He then took on the role of getting you back to this world so he could spend time with you. He started doing everything he could from poking you, to kissing you all over your face, to trying to take the book away even. Everything he tried did nothing though. You simply pushed him off and mumbled something along the lines of, "After I finish..."

   Eventually he just gave up, laying there with you and hugging you close with his head on your shoulder while you continued to read. You went to turn to the next page but you were stopped by Levi's hand holding yours still.

   "I'm not done yet hang on..." he muttered. You looked up at him for the first time since he went to clean up and saw his eyes moving rapidly to finish the page quickly. You smiled and let him turn to the last page, both of you finishing it together. 

   "Levi?" 

   "Hmmm?" he looked down at you, closing the book. 

   "Did I mention how much I love you?" He smiled and kissed you gently, pulling you closer to him.

   "I love you too (Y/N). Now how about we get some sleep? We have meetings tomorrow about what happened today."

   You nodded and sighed, curling up with him. 

   Life may be hard in this world of titans and fighting, but as long as you kept your loved ones close, everything would work out fine.
