It was Christmas, and you were gathered around the warm fireplace in Scott and Mitch's apartment with the rest of the group and their siblings. Kevin, Kirstin and Esther were sitting on the couch, while Mitch and Scott were getting hot chocolates for everyone. You were sitting on the floor with the love of your life for the past 3 years, Avi Kaplan. Currently, he had his arm around you, holding you close while gently rubbing small circles on shoulder.
Mitch came in carrying 3 cups of hot cocoa, followed by Scott, carrying another 3. Esther got up and ran into the kitchen, getting the rest of the cups. When Mitch saw you and Avi, he sent the drinks down and whipped out his phone.
"I SHIP IT MORE THAN SCOMICHE!" He said loudly, quickly snapping a picture. Avi chuckled with his deep voice, making you giggle as well. When he laughed, you couldn't help but laugh with him.
It was the time of night when everyone exchanged gifts, and next was your favorite part, singing Christmas Carols!
While the gifts were passed around, you couldn't help but notice Avi seemed a bit nervous. What for? You wondered. You shrugged it off and watched everyone open presents. You had gotten some new clothes from Mitch, Scott, and Kirstin, Kevin got you a new camera for your Youtube channel(you did covers and originals mostly), and Esther had gotten you a pair of earrings you'd been wanting for a while. You had given Avi his present(a beanie he'd been wanting), but he hadn't given you yours yet. When everyone else finished opening presents, they looked at Avi expectantly. He nodded to them, and Scott counted down from 3 and the group all started singing Valentine.
He looked at you the entire time the group sang it, smiling. He reached in his pocket and handed you a small, wrapped box. You opened it while they sang the final verse. Inside the box you saw a beautiful diamond ring. You gasped and looked at Avi. He grinned.
"Oh, friend of mine. It's okay, to be terrified. Please, don't be so shy." He sang, finishing the song. "(Y/N), you are the love of my life and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you Please Marry Me?" He asked, taking the ring out and holding it between his thumb and forefinger. You grinned and nodded, hugging him and holding back tears.
"Yes! YES I WILL! I love you so much Avriel!" You cried, letting slip the ring on your third finger. Everyone clapped while you gave him a quick kiss. You heard Kirstin and Scott start laughing. and looked back at them.
"SHUT UP!" Mitch said, his voice cracking. He was wiping his eyes furiously, Scott and Kirstin laughing at him and rubbing his back.
"You made him cry!" Scott laughed. You and Avi laughed and got up. You ran over and hugged him. He hugged you back and smiled, tears still falling. "I'm so happy for you both!" He pulled back and wiped his eyes a final time. "Now let's start the Carols!" He said after hugging Avi as well.
Everyone sat down around the fire in a Semi-circle, and the carols began. The rest of the night was filled with laughs, and Christmas music.
The final song you did was your favorite. The Christmas Sing Along.

When you all finished singing, you gave Avi a quick peck on the lips. "I love you so much."
"I love you too." he whispered back.
"STOP YOU'RE GONNA MAKE ME CRY AGAIN!" Mitch cried, covering his eyes.
