**Shawn's POV**
I rub my head and sit up from my bed, checking the time; 8:30. I rush up to get dressed and run down the stairs. Visiting hours started at 8.
My mom and Aaliyah are at the counter, eating cereal. When they see me run by, they give me a look. "Where you going?"
"To Paisley." I mutter, opening the door and closing it. I see that my jeep is already repaired, looking the same. I get in and drive to the hospital. Once I get there, my phone starts ringing. I answer without looking because I figured it would be her parents.
"Shawn?" Nash asks from the other line.
"Nash? What's up? I'm kinda busy." I walk through the parking lot to the entrance.
"Have you spoke to Paisley lately? She won't answer my calls or texts." He asks.
I put aside the fact that it sounds like he's been close with my Paisley and sigh. "She's in a coma from a car accident."
"What? Oh my gosh I'm flying out there." He hangs up, leaving me with a weird face.
I shrug and go back to check in and find Paisley's room. Her parents aren't there, so I assume they went to eat. Noah isn't here either, which I'm thankful for because he'd probably beat me with his crutches.
I sit in the chair next to Paisley and hold her hand, kissing her forehead. All of a sudden, the doctor comes in and smiles. "You are?"
"I'm Shawn, her boyfriend." I smile, realizing who I am.
"Well, Shawn, I have some good news and bad news." He sits in another chair.
"Okay." I shrug and hold her hand a little tighter.
"Good news, she has no broken bones. Her left arm just had a strained muscle. With a little rest, it will be all healed."
"Good. What's the bad news?" I bite my lip.
"Bad news is that we don't know when she will wake up. It could be in a few hours or a few days." He shrugs.
I sigh and nod. "Okay, thank you."
With that he leaves and I can't help but wonder if she will have amnesia. I don't know much about all this medical stuff, as I'm more of a music guy so I couldn't understand whether or not it was possible. I hope with all my heart she doesn't get it because I couldn't handle myself if she didn't remember me.
Noah and the Jones walk in with coffees and give me a warm smile. Noah barely acknowledges me. He's just mad because one time when we were freshman and he was older, I can't recall what grade he was in, I made out with his girlfriend. I can't believe that guy holds a grudge that bad.
"Uh, the doctor came in." I inform them.
"What did they say?" Noah's jaw clenches.
"She's got no broken bones, yet they don't know when she will wake up." I shrug.
Mr. and Mrs. Jones start whispering to each other before looking at Noah. "Look, we really should be at work. Promise you guys immediately call us when she wakes up?"
I nod right away with Noah. With that, they leave. There's an awkward tension in the room and I can't help but gulp with fear. At least Noah is hurt and can't beat me as good as he normally could.
"Hey." Amy walks in, cutting through the silent tension.
"Hi." I look at her awkwardly. She places a vase of Paisley's favorite flowers; lilys on the desk.
"Noah, you're back?" She turns to him with a puzzled look.
"Yep." He lifts his foot up.
"Ouch." Amy gives him a small smile and sits in the chair next to me. "So you and Paisley, huh?"
