Echo's P.O.V
I looked up from the mangled figure that used to be Fritz, it was hard to tell he was once human. I did this, I killed a man... No, two men. I thought, horrified at what I had done. I looked up, to see Mark turning around and running away. He saw. That was the only thing that danced in my head, and I couldn't get it to stop.I ran off, away from the warehouse, away from the town, into the woods. I didn't stop running until I found a lake, it was fairly large and clear. I ran in, wanting to get the blood off my paws and face, along with the guilt. I swam and dove for a half hour until I had to get back to shore because of exhaustion. I looked into the lake, but instead of seeing a wolf I saw a monster, a killer. I whip my head away, ears back and tail tucked as tears came out.
Thief, murderer, monster, echoed through my head, never stopping, never faltering or fading. I howled in grief of my mistakes, my misfortune, and my weakness and flaws. I howled for the men I had killed, for my mother and father, for my pack... And my friends. I howled until I couldn't anymore, the only thing stopping me was losing my voice.
The cry of a wolf can mean many things Sam, it can mean they have food, it can be meant to communicate. But it can also be mourning for a member of their pack dying. But for us, it can be the warning of a nearby rogue, for fun, the battle cry in war, and it too can mean the loss of a member of the pack, or grief of something you have done. That was the last thing my dad had told me before he left for the army early in the morning, before anyone else was up.
I hadn't realized that the sun was already gone by the time I was done howling, so I had decided to make my way back to Jack's house. Before I left the lake, I looked one last time at my reflection. I didn't see a monster, nor did I see myself; I saw my father, and my mother. Father's wolf, Grey was beside him; no, it wasn't Grey. It was myself. I look up to where my parents should be, but there was nothing but trees and bushes. Huh, I thought and trotted my way down towards the town and towards Jack's house.

Third Person
There was a scratch at the door, which filled three out of five people with excitement. Mark wasn't sure about Echo anymore, she was a werewolf and had brutally murdered a man. Sure she might have saved his life, but she was a monster.Jack had rushed to answer the door, opening it excitedly. All eyes landed on the open door as Echo had entered the room, still in the form of a grey wolf. Mark felt himself tense up in her presence, in the presence of something inhuman. When she finally came in, her head was lowered and her ears were slightly down, pointing away from each other. Her tail was down but not tucked, she didn't look up, didn't wag her tail or smile, just went straight up the stairs and to the room she was staying in. Everyone had looked at each other in a confused manner, wondering the same thing.
"Jack, you go check on her." Bob said, shoeing him off.
"Jack, don't. She will kill you." Mark argued, unwilling to lose his friend.
"No she won't," Ken countered, defending Bob.
"You haven't seen what she has done, what she's capable of." He defended, crossing his arms.
"I have, but she did it to save us. She may not be human, but she is not a monster." Jack spoke up, defending her and his friends. Mark raised his hands in surrender, accepting the fact he had lost this argument.
Jack climbed up the stairs and headed down the hall to the room Echo was staying in. He placed his head against the door, trying to listen for anything. He heard snapping and popping, almost sickening him as he thought he felt his bones and limbs snapping and popping. There was silence for a while so he stood back and knocked on the door, hoping that she'll answer.
"Come in," said a voice on the other side of the door. Taking a deep breathe, Jack opened the door and stepped into the room.

I closed the door behind me then looked down at the ground to find Echo sitting, buried under the duvet. She looked like a small mountain, and her back was facing me. She didn't move, didn't turn her head, just sat there looking out the window. It had started raining, no surprise there."Sam?" I asked, worried about her.
She turned her head, only enough to look through the corner of her eye. She didn't reply, just looked at me. The blanket loomed over her face, making a hood to hide her face.
I continued anyway, "Can you tell me what's wrong?"
She shook her head slowly and sighed, "I killed them... And I didn't even hesitate... I'm a killer..."
I didn't speak, instead I walked over to her and sat beside her. She opened her arm and wrapped the duvet around me too. The 'hood' had fallen off her head in the process, but she didn't bother to fix it. There were tears in her eyes, so I wiped them off.
She turned her head and smiled, but it was a sad smile. "Thanks."
"For what?"
"Always being there for me, it's like you know exactly when to be there for me, and know exactly what to do to cheer me up. When I was younger, I would always watch your videos. Whenever I needed to get away from Clint or Cameron, I would always turn to you or Mark. Then when I finally got to meet you in person, I was the happiest person alive."
Echo's P.O.V
I smiled at the memory, it was my first year at VidCon, and I had only about a million subs. That's when I met Jack, who was so nice and we ended up hanging out the whole time. He introduced me to Mark and a ton of his other friends like Felix, Ken, and a lot of other YouTubers. Come to think of it, I met a lot of my YouTube friends and fans there. After VidCon we started doing collabs and became good friends, but one day we kind of lost touch. That's why I was so excited to do a collab with Mark and Jack, to reconnect with them."You watched my videos? Wow, thanks man! Who's Clint?" He asked, looking at me.
I started explaining to him about the life of being a werewolf, then all the terms and experiences. I then explained to him about the Moon Goddess, how a lot of us think of her as our werewolf version of God. I talked about everything, but only on the subject of werewolves. We ended up talking through the night, until around 3 in the morning, when I had finally fallen asleep.

I can't believe how stupid Jack is, to walk into the room where there was a monster. What am I saying? This is Sam, the girl who saved my ass and here I am being a douche and calling her a monster. I sat up in my bed, looking at the clock, 5:31 am. I sighed, laying back down in my bed.No, I have to apologize to her, and thank her. If it wasn't for her, I would probably still be in that warehouse. I walk down the hall to the room she was staying in, hoping they're still awake, they've been talking for a while now. When I open the door, I see her and Jack. They weren't doing anything, just sleeping on the floor. I chuckle softly and close the door, after whispering an apology and a goodnight.
