(A/N: Hey guys! Soo, now that I have finished my homework I thought that I would write on my new Chrome Book I had recently got from school, so enjoy!)
Just, just break it. Just break the door.
I can't, it's rude and I'm pretty sure there was something about breaking the humans property.
Now you're just making things up.
Maybe, but it's still rude.
Fine, if you won't, I will. I felt Capricorn take over, and I watched in shock as she broke through the doors like a bad ass and shifted into a wolf. She was in her true form in a way, and started 'attacking' Wade and Ken. By that I mean she took the fake weapons and snapped them in her powerful jaws.
They closed the door behind them as they ran out the door in fear. They've stopped her, for now. For a while Capricorn raged and had a full blown tantrum. And when she has a tantrum, it only takes two people to calm her down. One being my dad, who had a calm and soft approach; and Clint, who had a rough and stern approach. He usually had to use his Alpha Voice, and it usually leads him to repeat himself until I finally gain control.
Jack came in moments later, Mark seconds later. Jack actually approached me, while Mark hung by the door. Hands out like an animal-tamer, he softly started hushing Capricorn's laboured breathing and it didn't take long for their eyes to lock onto each other. For a while they just stared into each other's eyes. Finally, Capricorn gave me back control and I felt my eyes change from gold to my normal blue eyes.
Jack's P.O.V
Never have I ever, in the entirety of my life have I witnessed someone's eyes changing colours. Nor do I EVER want to again, it's pretty fucking weird and awesome at the same time. Somehow, someway I knew Echo was, well... Echo again. She nodded and I nodded back, I guess she was thanking me.
I stood up straight and left her with Mark, who still seemed a little uneasy around Sam. "She's all yours." I say, patting him on the shoulder. He smiled uneasily, like what I had just did was impossible.
Echo's P.O.V
After Jack left, Mark walked up to me warily. "Does that happen... Often? Like, what the fuck just happened?" Turning around, I walked out passed Mark and headed into my room. Grabbing the first thing I could find, I pulled out an outfit and changed into it after shifting.
After walking out of my room and closing the door, I ran right into Mark. "OH! Mark! Hi, I thought you were still in the other room!"
He shook his head, "Yeah, I guess I should have waited. Sorry." He scratched the back of his neck in a sort of nervous manner.
"Oh, I guess you just wanted and answer, or answers. It happens sometimes, when my mind's in a weak state or when I give her control. It also happens when she decides to take matters into her own hands... or paws in her case. This happens when she's really mad or when she thinks I'm being stupid when I'm either doing something wrong or not doing anything when I should be doing something." I answered, then laughed at my stupid joke, and Mark did the same. For a little while we sat in silence before I remembered the other question. "That was your first taste of what she's capable of, by the way."
He nodded then left, "I'm excited about that date by the way,"
I chuckled, "Yeah, I am too."
Clint?
Yeah Sam?
How are you doing so far?
I'm good, the pack's good. We were just getting prepared for the war, your brother though, doesn't seem so ready. I'm going to have to do some extra training with him to boost his confidence about all this shit.
Mind if I join you? I haven't had much time with training so far. That won't be a problem, I'm coming home soon anyways.
Alright, is there an expected time for your arrival?
Next week is a definite.
See you then.
Okay, see ya soon.
Bye.
And like that, he ended the mind-link. "Alright then," I muttered then went onto packing all of my clothes. Clint was a good, no... great Alpha. He wasn't quite like a brother or father, but more like that fun uncle that loves being crazy and having fun with you. He was there after my old pack was attacked by rogues. Cameron was around ten while I was only five, and I remember all of it.
Smoke filling our lungs, Cameron grabbed me by my small hand and lead me out of the burning house. Outside wasn't much different from what was going on inside. There were screaming people and grotesque men fighting and killing off those who had once been our friends, our packmates. I couldn't take my eyes off them, I was so confused as to why our own kind was attacking us.
Cameron, who's eyes nervously dashed around as we snuck away worried me. I had never seen him more scared or determined in my entire five years of living. He would occasionally snap his head to look over his shoulder, causing me to do the same. "No no, Sam." He said to me, "Don't look back. Keep your eyes on me."
Of course I went against my better judgement and looked back, and spotted Daniel our old Beta being struck down by one of the men attacking us. I had let go of Cam's hand and started running back when I felt myself being swept off my feet and into someone's arms. It was our Luna, Maisie. She looked at me, her eyes filled with despair and hopelessness. Her once beautiful hazel eyes were sad and lonely. "Where's Uncle Will?" I asked her, Will was our dad's brother and the Alpha of our old pack.
Tears started to stream down her eyes as she gingerly cupped the back of my head with her soft hands and embraced me. I knew what had happened, and so I ignored everything around me as the two of us and Cameron ran into the woods. Away from the burning houses and away from our old lives.
