Two Months Later
My muscles ached and begged for rest, it had been several hours since my last rest. Sweat ran down my back and face, but I continued until I wouldn't breathe or go any farther. I dedicated myself to training, I was done being the runt in the pack, the pup. I trained long and hard, I lost my fat and gained muscle. I grew into my Capricorn personality, I was a stone cold warrior and a locked door. I ended my channel and no longer responded to Echo. I ended up talking to Jack and Mark and everyone less and less. I haven't talked to them since I came back from the castle in Ireland, and I guess it was a welcome back and a goodbye.

Panting, I walk over to where my water bottle was waiting ever so patiently to be drank out of. Taking huge gulps, I finished it and took it with me inside my house. I wasn't sharing with Cameron anymore, Clint had one built after he saw my dedication to the pack and to serving my kind. My dad would be proud, and I'm sure he is.

Oh, that's right, I haven't told you. I came home from training to see Clint in my living room with Cameron in tears. He was a strong man, never cried unless it was something really, really bad.

"Sam," Clint started. "Your father was ambushed by rogues. He was killed coming up on the pack territory."

I locked myself in my room, and didn't come out until about a couple weeks later. That's when I truly dedicated myself into training nonstop, I went rogue hunting a well after that. Came home with lovely wolf tails that hung in a spare room over the fireplace above the mantle, where pictures of my family were. Just me, my dad, Cam, and my mom. I only ever went in that room when I needed to cry or be weak, because even capricorns need to be weak when they've been strong for too long. I straightened up when I heard my phone rang, I looked at the caller I
I.D, and sure enough, it was Mark. I looked at the picture for his profile pic, it was all of us smiling like idiots on the bus. God, we were all so happy then. I miss it, I haven't been truly happy since my father died.
I debated whether answering it or not, but I gave up and answered it. "Hey Mark." I said, trying to fake my surprise and joy.

"Echo! Wow, it's been so long since I've heard your voice! I haven't heard you or of you after you deleted your channel. Umm, what exactly was that about?"

I sighed, closing my eyes. "I don't think you'll like the answer. Now what about you? What's been going on in your life?" I replied, trying desperately to change the subject.

"My life isn't important right now, I want to know what's up with you!" He argued, pressing the subject.

"God damn it Mark, fine. I deleted my channel because I'm going to war soon. I didn't want to disappoint my subscribers by all of a sudden not uploading for years and years if I... you know. So I've dedicated my life and myself to my pack and this war, I don't want to be the weak link, the pup anymore."  There was silence on his end of the line, he must be processing it, so I continued. "I've also stopped contacting everyone because it was the best way to say goodbye without any complications. And.... I hate to see people hurt, and I don't want to be around when you guys die when you're old while I'm standing there, still young and healthy." I started breaking down in tears, so I retreat into my safe room. "I don't want to see that, I don't want to be there for that. I don't want to be at your funerals. I love you guys too much for that."

"Sam, Sam it's okay. No ones going to die just yet. I'm okay, Jacks okay, Wiishu, Bob, Wade and Ken are okay. How about while you calm down I'll tell you what's been going on with mine and everyone else's lives."

"Yeah, sure that'd be great." He started with how he finally got a girlfriend and how he wasn't living with the boys anymore. He didn't go too far with that one, then he went on about what was going on in Jacks and Bobs life. Then he finished off with how Wade and Molly got married. "Ohh, Mark! Wade got married? I wanted to be there with him," I started crying again before I held them back, sniffing and drying my eyes with my sleeve.
We shared stories until my alarm on my watch went off. "I have to go train. See you later Mark."

"Can we talk again soon?" He asked, eager to talk again.

"I'll call you." I said, then hung up. I walked out of the room and down to my kitchen and re-filled my water bottle and stretched to get ready to train. Picking up my water, I headed outside and shifted heading to the training area to train in wolf form. I didn't get more muscle in Human form, Capricorns body was a lot more muscular and leaner too thanks to all of the training in wolf form too.

The evening mist crawled lazily across the empty field, the fog was unnatural, conjured by wizards to add effect and mood. Thunder roared above, promising and threatening to rain relentlessly and with a great force. Any sign of life were gone, and only the thunder and the footsteps of the oncoming armies were to be heard for miles. Growls were heard from either side, wolves in armour and soldiers astride centaurs, dragons and griffins on one side; goblins, vampires astride smoking skeletons of horses, and demons riding unnaturally large dogs on the other side. There were a large variety of creatures and monsters on either side, but many creatures of light had strictly refused to join.

One wolf in armour stood out from the rest armoured in white and gold armoured rather than black and blue armour. He was feared and respected by many, but not all, for he was the Werewolf King. Many eyes were fixed on him from across the field, eager to be the first to kill him. The white wolf smirked at his foes and walked up to meet his opponent in the centre.

The demon king, suited in a dark metal underneath a thick, dark cape with a large hood covering his head and hiding his face. He walked up to greet the king before the war would begin.
When he removed his cape, he revealed not the face of a demon, but of a teenaged boy with red hair. His smile was a devilish one, his red eyes glowed with malice and charm, like a cobra. It would have charmed most human girls, and in the rare case some foolish creatures.

They conversed through mind-link, discussing terms and agreements and rules, if the Demon kings army won, he rules the species in command of that army. If the Werewolf King won, the demon species are to return to the underworld.

They shook hands and paws and returned to their starting position and discussed the plans and rules to the armies.

Miss Samantha Taylor He called out to the werewolves, eye scanning across each and every face looking at him.

Yes, your highness? A soft and sweet voice replied a grey wolf who stepped forward from the crowd. Her eyes showed an eagerness to fight and serve her pack and kind. They also showed kindness and intelligence.

For some reason for part of the agreement, they want you and your pack if they win. He answered, confused about their terms. Surly he would have them anyways if he won.

He cut himself off from thought as recited his battle strategy, making sure everyone knew.Once he was sure, he nodded and everyone got into formation.

Echo's P.O.V
I took a couple of deep breathes as I stood in formation, repeating what I learned from my months of training. I was in a group with Conner, Willow and Callum. The whole pack has gone through a complete transformation. We were all stronger, faster, smarter, and a lot more lean and muscular. I was proud of them, and I could tell Clint was too.
I waited patiently as Callum stood beside me, he was in wolf form too. His wolf was pure white and had a regal looking frame, with a strong head and body.

Are you scared too? I asked him, keeping my eyes fixed ahead.

Hell yeah, who wouldn't? He replied, his laugh sounding hoarse and forced.

Don't worry, as long as we have each other's back nothing will go wrong. I answered, trying to reassure him and myself.

READY... ADVANCE The kings voice boomed in my head, and as one giant group we moved forward and into battle.
