Friday Night Smackdown part two
AJ walked me backstage to the trainers room.
"What's up doc?" I asked.
He smiled at AJ and I, "Hey guys. That was a nasty fall you had during your match Ella."
"Yup. That's why we're here." AJ remarked, causing him to chuckle.
"Well let me check you out. Sit here." He said. So I sat where he told me to, on the little bed thing.
He put on his gloves and poked and prodded at my nose.
I was asked to explain how the injury happened.
"Hey didn't you watch the match?" I asked.
"Protocol," he smiled.
He also asked me about the state of my general health, and how my nose looked before the injury. Then he examined the surrounding areas around my nose, including my eyes, jaw, and teeth, and he looked for bruising, lacerations, and swelling.
Well that's all the bullshit he said and did.
"So, it's broken. Very broken." He chuckled.
"Thanks for your concern." I said in a nasally tone. Oh my voice sounded disgusting!
"Will I be able to fight on Sunday?" I asked.
"Probably not," he sighed.
"Too bad. I'm still fighting. Can't you give me one of those cool mask things?" I asked.
"Ella, I don't know if I should. I'd just be encouraging you to fight two days after you broke your nose." He replied.
"The match isn't even final yet." AJ pitched in, "So why don't you just give it to her just incase."
"No that match will be happening, mark my words. But I'll be fighting with or without the mask. Your choice doc."
"Fine," he sighed giving in, "But if you break your nose any further, you could be out for a while and I'll get to say 'I told you so!'"
He reached in one of the drawers and pulled out a mask.
That was a cool mask.
"Try it on." He said.
So I did and he adjusted the straps.
"How does it feel?" He asked.
"Badass." I smirked, which caused him and AJ to laugh.
However, their laughing at me was interrupted when Dean barged through the door.
"Ella," he sighed. He ran towards me and gave me a big hug being careful not to go near my nose, even though the mask was on.
He was very sweaty so I can tell he just came from his match, "Are you ok?"
"Yeah I'm cool. Just a broken nose." I smiled.
"A broken nose!" He repeated in fury.
"Hey it's ok. With this mask, I'll get to beat Paige for the diva's championship on Sunday." I replied.
"You're not fighting on Sunday." He said immediately.
"You can't tell me what to do." I huffed.
"Why would you want to injure yourself more?" He asked.
"Dean wrestling isn't just my job, it's my passion. If I fight on Sunday, I guarantee that I'll walk out of there divas champion. " I said matter of factly.
"Ella I just want you to be safe. And when did you even get a match?" He asked.
"It doesn't matter when I'm going to get the match! And what do you know about safety. You risk your life and shit all the time," I asked him, "Fighting in latter matches, jumping through tables, and even more crazy shit, which looks kind of fun, I can't lie. But why do you worry so much about me and not about yourself?"
"Because I care about you way more than I ever could about myself." He said quietly.
"Well shit Dean," I mumbled.
He sent me a small smile and I wrapped my arms around his neck real right and kissed his head, "I care about you too, but you have to understand that no matter what you say, I'm fighting in this match. And I would like the support of my boyfriend."
"You know I'll support you no matter what," he smiled, "but-wait. When did you even get a match against Paige?"
"Right now." I smiled.
"What?" He asked in confusion. And while he was trying to piece together the situation, I ran to the gorilla, leaving my mask behind. Dean was hot on my tail. Luckily I saw Ryback exit through the curtain, so that meant the Rybaxel/Uso match was over I grabbed a microphone and walked down the ramp before my music could even play.
"Hello everyone." I smiled into the microphone, "as you can see I'm a little bit injured." My nose was legitimately slanted, and I had two black eyes forming.
I paused for a bit and said, "But that's not why I'm out here. I'm out here because earlier tonight, I pinned Paige. Don't worry, I'm not here to gloat or anything. That's not what I do. However, I am here to challenge her for this Sunday at Elimination Chamber."
I sat down in the middle of the ring, "So Paige my friend, would you please make your way down to the ring?"
However, instead of her catchy little theme song playing, AJ's did. I had a large look of annoyance on my face and everyone watching could probably see.
"Ella you're my close friend," AJ spoke into the microphone, "but I'm afraid you won't be getting that match on Sunday, because I have my rematch clause."
Damn.

Then Summer Rae's music played.

"Aj's right," Summer spoke into the microphone as she walked out in a very tacky general manager outfit, "She does have her rematch clause."

"Okay, I didn't need you out here to say that," Aj rolled her eyes.

"Well I'm the general manager!" Summer huffed.
"But I still pinned her." I spoke into the microphone.
AJ was in the middle of the ramp, at this point.
And finally Paige's music played.
"Hold up!" She spoke in her cute British accent, "I, the divas champion decide who I face at Elimination chamber!"
"Yes AJ," she started, "you have your rematch clause. So you will be fighting me."
AJ squealed and jumped up in down in excitement.
"But," Paige spoke very clearly, "you won't be fighting me alone. Because Ella will also be in this fight."
Oh shit. This is going to be my moment.
"It'll be a triple threat elimination match for the diva's championship. May the best fighter win." Paige said and she walked backstage.
Major respect for that girl.
But my attention then turned to AJ.
I slid out of the ring and walked back up the ramp purposely bumping shoulders with her. She followed a few steps behind me.
"Ella I'm sorry." She said as soon as we got backstage.
"It's all good. And you had the right to do what you did," I told her truthfully. I couldn't be too mad, considering the fact that I would still get to fight for the diva's championship. And it would be even sweeter to defeat two divas.
"Thank you for understanding Ella. I'm super excited to face you." She smiled.
"Me as well," I said, "well I better get going. I'm going to go find Dean."
"Alright see you later." She said.
"Bye bye." I sang.
