Royal Rumble
My title opportunity is happening next. I looked for AJ to wish her luck, but she was nowhere to be found. She was probably just getting in the zone.
A crew member told me it was time to go out.
This is it. This is my time to shine.
My music blasted through the arena and I walked down the ramp, waving to everybody.

"If it isn't the heiress! The princess of the WWE! She's here!"

This was the biggest crowd I've ever fought in front of. NXT Takeover was nothing compared to this.
I can't even imagine what it would be like if I got to wrestle at Wrestlemania.
I got in the ring and couldn't help but smile. I waved to as many fans as I could before Aj's entrance music began
It went on for a while, but she didn't come out.
They played it once more, but she still didn't come out.
Summer's face appeared on the titantron.
"Hey Ella! If you're watching this, you may be wondering where the beloved divas champion is. Well, I have your answer right here!" She pointed to AJ who was sprawled across the floor.
The video cut off and Summer's music blasted through the arena.
She got nothing but boos.
I grabbed a microphone and said to her, "I get that you wanted TV time on a paper view, but this is how you go about doing it?"
The crowd oohed at my comment.
Point one for me!
"No, I was helping you stay undefeated! Because we all know you can't beat AJ." Summer retorted.
"Actually, I think you did this because you didn't want me as the divas' champion. You made me break my promise, so in return, I'm going to break your face tomorrow on Raw." I said through gritted teeth.
"Are you sure you won't hide behind your mommy and daddy and ask for another title opportunity?" She asked.
"That's the difference between me and you Summer. I don't hide behind people. I don't just get things handed to me. You know what Summer?" I growled, "I'm done playing nice."
"Oh really?" She yelled.
"Yeah! Really! You're just a worthless excuse for a woman who slept her way into this company, and you're one of the worst divas in the division! And instead of spending your free time trying to get better, you waste all of our time gloating about how 'great' you are. I know what type of person you are, Summer. I've dealt with people like you my whole life."

"And what type of person might that be?"

"A spiteful, pitiful, envious, joke. And for your information, jealousy is not an admirable trait." I said quoting Dean's words.
"You'll be seeing me tomorrow Summer!" I said through gritted teeth, dropping the mic, then getting out of the ring.
I walked backstage and got engulfed in a group hug by Brie, Daniel, Nikki, John, and Dolph.
"Guys I'm ok." I told them.
"You did great El!" Brie said ignoring my comment.
"That's so unfair! Summer has no idea what she's getting herself into! But you really stuck it to her." Nikki said laughing.
The twins were two of my closest friends and they could both see that deep down I was outraged.
Who knows when I could get another title shot? By myself at least.
"Thanks, guys." I told them. It was nice to have friends like them around me.
"Let's go watch the Rumble match in catering!" Brie exclaimed.
"Ok. But I'm going to go change first." I told them all.
We parted ways and I took the route to the divas' locker room.
Of course, standing right in front of the locker room was Dean Ambrose.
"Summer's a bitch." He said as soon as he saw me.
"And the sky is blue," I responded him, "Now leave me alone, so I can go change."
He cat whistled and I rolled my eyes.
"Really Ambrose?"
He put his hands up in defense. And I couldn't help but smile at his cuteness.
Cuteness? What's wrong with me!
"See. I knew I could get a smile out of you." He said.

"It was at your expense."

"Doesn't matter to me," he shrugged.
"Okay Dean. Can you leave?" I asked him.
"I'm afraid I can't, princess." He told me.
"Aren't you in the Royal Rumble match?" I asked him.
"I'm number fifteen, so I got time" He told me.
"Spend that time getting ready. And leave me alone." I told him
"You're no fun." He said.
"I'm lots of fun." I replied.
"Prove it." He said.
"How?"
"Go on a date with me." He said.
"Well played but, no," I said.
"If you do go with me, then I'll leave you alone forever." He told me.
"How convincing, but no." I retorted.
"I guess I could just keep bugging you then." He told me as he poked my cheek, "unless you just enjoy my company so much, you want me to keep bugging you."
"You're so annoying." I told him.

"I knew that was it. She likes me!" he yelled to no one in particular.

"Dean," I groaned, just wanting to change out of my ring gear.
"What's the worst that could happen? No one will know." He said.
"I'll go," I said, "if you get on your knees and beg."
"Hell no." He said.
"I wonder what Dolph is doing tomorrow," I said with a grin on my face.
"I have more pride than that." He responded.
"Ok, bye Dean," I told him.
"I'll beg, but I won't get on my knees. That's your job."
"You're sickening! But go ahead Ambrose. Let's see you beg" I said.
"Please go on a date with me. It would make me so happy." He said doing puppy dog eyes, which caused me to cringe.
"Since you begged me." I said with a laugh at the end.

"I knew you'd give in eventually," he smirked.

"It's one date Ambrose."

"The beginning of something truly special," he joked.

"Uh huh," I laughed, "well I'm going to go change, hopefully without interruption this time. So I will see you later."
"I'll see you tomorrow El. I'm really looking forward to this date." He said.
I rolled my eyes at him.
"Bye Dean." I told him as I shut the door.
Is it bad that I'm kind of excited for this date?
