I checked my phone to see that I had three missed calls from Dolph.
I called him back and he picked up after the third ring.
"Hey Dolph." I said nervously
"So that's how you really feel?" He asked angrily.

"What are you talking about?"

"You said you needed time, yet you're already getting back under Ambrose."
"What are you talking about? I said I needed time! I haven't 'gotten under' anyone." I told him, shocked at these baseless accusations.
"I know you went to Dean's room."
"It wasn't even like that! I told him the same thing I told you!" I exclaimed.
"Then why didn't you leave him a sorry ass text, like the one you left me?" He asked.
"Are you really being like this? Do you not trust me?" I asked him.
"I don't know anymore." He sighed.

"Dolph. Please don't shut me out. We've been friends for so long," I told him.
"Goodbye, Ella." He said.
"Dolph. I can't have you hating me right now. I need you in my life." I told him sadly.
"I can never hate you Ella," he started, "I love you."
"What?" I asked, but he already hung up the phone.
I called him back multiple times and he finally picked up, "I think it's best that we don't hang out for a while." He told me.
"Dolph please don't shut me out." I pleaded, "What happened to always being there for each other huh?"
"Ella, you brought this upon yourself." He told me.
I hung up on him. Who does he think he is?
Half of me feels bad, but half of me wants to punch Dolph in the face.
He was supposed to be one of my best friends. But now I know where we stand. He also has the worst timing in the universe. I haven't been romantically involved with anyone for years. In fact, the entire time Dolph has known me on a personal level, I've been single. But of course, being a stubborn and selfish guy, he has to confess his love for the second I start seeing someone else. I don't understand men.
More frustrated than ever, I picked up my phone and clicked on the first person I could think of.
He immediately picked up.
"Dean," I took a shaky breath, "can you come over?"
"I'm on my way."
In a mere two minutes, I heard bangs on the door.
I walked to the door and opened it and it was Dean.
"Dean. I'm sorry," I told him, "we don't need to just be friends. I can't lose anyone else."
"Ella. Where is this all coming from?" He asked me with a bewildered look on his face.
"I just realized." I started, but he cut me off.
"Ella. Be honest." He told me softly.
"Dolph." I whispered.
"What did he do?" Dean asked, clenching his jaw.
"He basically broke things off with me as a friend because I didn't want to go out with him, even though I've known him for years and we've always been super close.."
"He's an idiot," Dean said.
"Dean," I told him, "He's not an idiot. He's just confused. Besides, it's his loss. He lost a friend."
"How do you manage to see the good in everyone?" Dean asked me.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You gave me a chance, and I'm Fuck up. You gave him a chance and he's an asshole. I just don't get it." He said with an unidentifiable expression on his face.
"You're not a fuck up," I said with a soft smile on my face, "just misunderstood."
I put my hands on his chest and kissed his cheek.
"How are you feeling though?" He asked.
"I'm okay," I told him.
"Ella-" he started, but I cut him off.
"Dean. Look at me."
I put my hand on his cheek and turned his face towards mine.
He leaned in and so did I.
Our lips connected and I swear fireworks went off.
Any lingering questions involving my attraction to Dean were answered by that one kiss. He was such a good kisser.

He smiled at me and pulled me in for a hug.

Dean Ambrose. What are you doing to me?

A/N- Sorry that was really short! The next chapter will be a lot longer.
