Chapter 25

"So, what do you say? Will you go to Cabo with me?" Brie asked.
"I don't know." I said.
"Please? All the girls are going. And Lauren and Katy!" She exclaimed.
"Really?" I asked her.
I met Lauren and Katy a few years back at Brie's family's annual Christmas party. And ever since then we've become pretty good friends.
"So what do you say?" She asked.
"Fine." I told her.
"Yay! It's going to be so fun!" She exclaimed.
"So when are we going?" I asked.
"Tomorrow." She said nervously.
"Oh..." I trailed off.
"We'll get back Friday Morning before Smackdown." She's said.
"I can't believe you're getting married!" I told her.
"Me either," she said with a big smile on her face, "I'll help you pack."
"Thanks Breezy." I told her.
We were already in my room so she helped me gather the necessary clothes I would need for the trip, which included a few clubbing outfits, pajamas, bathing suits, and everyday clothes.
I'm actually really excited.
"Great. You're all packed up. Do you want to head to the arena with me?" She asked.
"Sure, but let me text Dean. I think he was going to take me." I told her.
"So you guys are getting pretty serious huh?" She asked.
"I wouldn't say that. He hasn't made it official yet." I told her.
"He hasn't?" She asked.
"Nope." I told her. He said he wanted to take it slow and it's honestly been really nice, although it would be nice to officially be in a relationship with him. I've never really had feelings for someone like this before.
"He will soon." She told me.
"How are you so sure?" I asked.
"Just trust me. I see the way he looks at you." She said, "And I'm pretty sure everyone thought you guys were going out already."
"I don't think everyone thinks that. I've only told you Nikki and AJ, and Dean's only told Seth and Roman." I said.
"Well you guys have obvious chemistry and anyone would have to be an idiot not to see that." Brie said, "Especially onscreen. Like, when you're with Randy and he's with Summer, it's so funny seeing you guys sneak flirty glances at eachother"
"I hope we don't make it too obvious. My mom would be pissed," I laughed.
"Well let's head out!" She said.
I texted Dean and told him I was heading over with Brie.
We walked to the elevator and headed down to the lobby.
"Brie what day is it?" I asked her.
"February 9th." She said.
"Valentine's Day is on Saturday!" I told her excitedly.
"Oh yeah!" She exclaimed.
"What are you and Daniel doing?" I asked her.
She was about to speak but I interrupted her.
"I don't want to know. Do I?" causing her to laugh at me.
She got in the driver's seat and I got in the seat next to her.
"Do you think Dean will ask you to be his girlfriend on Valentine's day?" She asked.
"No. He's not that cliché. But I do hope it's sometime soon." I told her.
"Yeah." She said.
We talked about what the trip to Cabo would be like and the Wedding during the car ride. It was great to spend some more time with Brie.
"We're here!" I yelled.
"Cool! See you later El!" She told me.
"Bye Brie!" I said. We hugged and parted ways.
I walked to The Shield's Locker Room.
I walked straight in and said hey to all the guys.
Dean greeted me with a kiss on the cheek.
Unexpected, but very nice.
"So Dean. Tomorrow I'm going to Cabo for three days for Brie's bachelorette party." I said.
"Sounds fun." He said.
"Yeah, but I think I may be the only one there who doesn't drink." I told him.
"Well that's great! That means you're special." Dean laughed.
I stuck my tongue out at him and he retaliated by doing the same.
"You guys are so immature." Seth joked.
"Coming from the guy who dyed his hair two colors because he couldn't decide which one he liked better." I said.
Dean and Roman just snickered to themselves.
"I did it because it looked cool." He pouted.
"Whatever Seth. It's 8:30, let's watch some of raw." I said.
I turned on the TV and AJ was talking about how great she was. That was in the script of course.
Then Paige came out.
Paige was one of my good friends from NXT.
AJ ended up challenging her to a title match.
"This'll be quick." Dean said.
AJ was in control for a while until Paige hit her finisher.
She won?
Paige is the new champion.
I was not expecting that.
AJ had a little tantrum in the ring.
Wow.
"So do you guys have any matches tonight?" I asked them.
"I have a title match against Ziggler." Dean said.
"And we have a tag match against the Rhodes brothers." Seth said referring to him and Roman.
"I love them!" I exclaimed, which caused them all to chuckle.
"Do you have a match?" Seth asked.
"Let me check." I told them.
I checked the website and I do have a match.
"I have a match against Nikki." I told them.
"That'll be a good match." Roman said.
"Yeah. I'm excited to face her." I told them.
We watched some more of Raw until it was time for my match.
I walked down the ramp and got all cheers.
Nikki also got a lot of cheers, but a few boos.
We shook hands before the bell rang, immediaetly locking up when it did, before she pushed me down.
I got up and she clotheslined me.
She went to clothesline me again but I ducked.
She delivered a kick to my face, gaining control for a little bit. After Nikki hit a tough forearm, I laid on the ground playing possum, so she began to climb to the top of the ropes. She was clearly tired, so she was kind of slow. I climbed right behind her and superplexed her from the top rope.
I picked up her limp body and hit a regular DDT. I quickly covered her, but she kicked out at two. I got up first, waiting for her to get up. I went for a diving crossbody, but she caught me. However, before she could do anything, I countered with a tornado DDT. While she was down, I locked in my submission.
She tapped immediately.
The ref raised my hand and I smiled at the crowd.
I walked up the ramp and walked to the Shield locker room.
"Ella you can't be beat!" Roman said.
"Thanks Ro! I think you guys are on next." I told him and Seth.
Seth checked his phone, "Oh yeah we are. Thanks El!" He said.
"Good luck boys!" I told them.
"Great job princess," Dean said as he gave me a kiss.
"Thanks Deanie," I told him.
"That's a horrible nickname El." He told me.
"Hey I can't think of another!" I told him.
He just shook his head and laughed at me.
