Chapter 7

Nicole's POV

I quickly changed into my outfit for stage and got my hair braided. Me and Sadie quickly ran on stage so we can get started. We did a few songs and I leaned to the mic.

"So today as you all saw. We were running around town. Durning this trip I met someone. Grayson can come on stage for me." I said. I saw him run up.

"Hi." He said shyly.

"You can play drums." I said he nodded his head. I lead him up to my set.

"Alright Grayson pick your favorite song that you can play and start playing the beat." Sadie said. I walked backstage. Waved to the guys grabbed my lucky guitar. Waved bye to them and came out.

"Weren't expecting this now we're you." I said into the mic now next to Sadie. Grayson started Mz. Hyde written by us.(A/N all rights go to Halestorm)  I found myself strumming to the beat and Sadie started singing. As the song ended I found myself thinking of how good Grayson played.

"Guys ....I found someone who can replace me." I said with a shocking look on my face.

"No one can replace you!" Fans yelled.

"We love you Nicole!" Others would yell.

"Can we please just realize how I forgot Nicole wasn't drumming." Sadie said.

"And the fact she was playing guitar." Grayson said.

"Dude.... You already fit in." I said. I hear him laugh.

"Well give it up to our boy Grayson who rocked those drums." Sadie said.

"Now back to our regular scheduled show." I said going back to my drums.
The show ended and we met up with the guys.

"You play guitar." Luke said shocked.

"I also play bass, piano, and keyboard."   I said.

"I just play guitar." Sadie said all of us laughing.

"School sucks start a bad." Calum read.

"Don't judge." I said.

"I'm not." He replied.

"Getting all sassy on me." I said snapping my fingers in a Z.

"You need a life." Sadie said.

"Already know that." I said.

"How did you learn how to play?" Michael asked.

"Oh I taught myself." I said.

"Really." Ashton said shocked.

"Yeah. What I do is listen to the beat of a song and it just clicks." I said.

"Show us." Calum said. I just shrugged in response. I pulled up Teenage Dirtbag. I grabbed my guitar and started playing after the song ended.

"It's that easy." Calum said.

"I'm just fucking with you. I already knew how to play that song." I said.

"What about Greenday." Michael asked.

"Already know the songs." I said.

"What about.... Skinny Love?" Ashton asked.

"I can try. I know the song but I never really tried it. Be prepared to hear horribleness." I said sitting behind the piano.

"Come on skinny love just last the year
Pour a little salt we were never here
My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my
Staring at the sink of blood and crushed veneer

I tell my love to wreck it all
Cut out all the ropes and let me fall
My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my
Right in the moment this order's tall

I told you to be patient
I told you to be fine
I told you to be balanced
I told you to be kind
In the morning I'll be with you
But it will be a different kind
'Cause I'll be holding all the tickets
And you'll be owning all the fines

Come on skinny love what happened here
Suckle on the hope in lite brassiere
My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my
Sullen load is full, so slow on the split

I told you to be patient
I told you to be fine
I told you to be balanced
I told you to be kind
Now all your love is wasted?
Then who the hell was I?
Now I'm breaking at the bridges
And at the end of all your lines

Who will love you?
Who will fight?
Who will fall far behind?

Come on skinny love
My, my, my, my, my, my, my, my." I sang. I ended the song and looked up. "What?"

"That was amazing." Ashton said smiling.

"Thanks." I said.

"Why don't you sing?" Calum asked.

"I have stage fright and I really don't like singing." I said. Biting my lip.

"You sing all the time." Sadie said.

"Yeah alone." I said.

"But really why don't you sing." Luke said.

"I just don't like singing. Really." I said.

"Alright. If you say so." Ashton said.

"Yes I do." I said.
