What an amazing day for.... What again?

Chapter 24

Nicole's POV:

Today's the day my best friend is getting married. I'm 9 months pregnant and the baby is due any second now.

"How do I look." Sadie asked twirling in her dress.

"Your mom would be so proud." I said hugging her.

"Hi dad." We both said as our dad walked in.

"Not only did I just lose one of my babies but here goes my second one." He said sniffling.

"Dad. Don't make her cry." I said hugging him well trying to.

"You cry then ill cry and then Nikki will cry. It'll be a big crying mess." Sadie said.

"You guys ready?"Ashton said popping his head to the door. We just shook our heads yes. It went Sarah and Calum, Bailey and Luke, then me and Ash. Finally Sadie and Dad. They went right into it. Said they're vows and I do's.

"I love you." Ashton said to me.

"I love you too." I said kissing him.

"And this little guy." Ashton said kissing my stomach. Yes its a boy. We haven't told anyone because we wanted it to be a secret. I love them all dearly but we wanted to keep the gender a secret. If it gets out the fans will give us so much stuff. I didn't want that. I wanted it to be special and not get stuff from fans. The wedding ended and the guest were leaving. I went to the bathroom because i had to pee. Well it wasn't that. I grabbed my phone and called the first person to pop up.

"Hate to ruin your wedding, but I'm in the bathroom.... The baby is ready to come out." I said panicking. I hear the door open and I see Sadie standing there.

"How. Why. Just. Now?" She said.

"I love you dearly sis but if i have to stand here with this child you will never forget this moment." I said. She shook her head and we walked out.

"We have a slight problem." I said.

"Is the baby ready." Ashton said with a smile.

"Yes and if i don't get to a hospital now. Someone is going to die!" I said. We all shuffled in the car and Calum drove to the hospital.

"Hi yes. My wife's water just broke." Ashton said. I soon got wheeled into a room.

8 hours later.

He's here. Kyle Zachary Irwin.

"It's a boy." Sadie gasped walking in the room.

"It's a boy." I said.

"Hi buddy it's your favorite Aunt." Sadie said. I just looked up at Ash.

"I love you." He said kissing my forehead.

"I love you too. Sorry for almost breaking your hand." I said.

"It was worth it." He said.

"For you." I said.

"Here we go again. You gonna explain how the pain felt again." He said sighing.

"Imagine pushing a watermelon out of a lemon." I said.

"Awe he's so cute." Bailey said.

"What's his name?" Sarah asked.

"Kyle." Me and Ash said at the same time.

"He has Nikki's eyes." Luke said.

"Look at little nose." Calum said bopping it.

"Babe I want one." Sarah said.

"Soon babe." Cal said kissing her temple.

"Am I the only one that noticed Calum bopping my son's nose." I said. We all just laughed.

Home sweet home. I grabbed Kyle from Ash so that he wouldn't fall.

"I'm going to put him in bed." I said kissing Ashton's cheek. "Now you go relax."

"I'm not letting you take care of him alone." Ashton said.

"Fine don't relax. Don't complain to me." I said. I walked up to Kyle's nursery and put him in his cradle.

"We did good." Ashton said behind me. I gasped and put my hand over my heart.

"Don't scare me like that." I said lightly hitting him. "But we did do good."

"Come on let's head to bed." Ash said. I threw on one of his shirts and shorts and crawled into bed. "Goodnight Love."

"Good--" I couldn't finish because as soon as I laid down I was out.

"Safety pin the pieces of our broken hearts back together." I heard through the monitor. I slowly got up and walked to the nursery. I walk in and see Ash holding Kyle.

"I can't wait to watch you grow. Hear you say your first word. See you walk. Teach you how to play drums. Get another sibling. See you go to school. Maybe you can go on tour with me or your mom. Seeing your mom smile when you were born was the best day of my life. After your mom said 'I do'. I love you buddy. And I'll make sure I don't end up like my dad." Ashton said. He put Kyle in the cradle and saw me standing there.

"How much you hear?" He asked.

"A lot." I said smiling.

"You heard about the sibling thing." He said awkwardly laughing.

"We can see about that." I said.

"Really." His eyes lighting up. "Can we try for a girl."

"Maybe." I said walking back to the room.

"I'm taking it as a yes." Ash said smiling.

"Let's go to bed." I said crawling in.

"I love you Nikki." Ash said.

"I love you too Ash." I said. I snuggled closer into him and fell asleep.
