Tori's P.O.V.

Weeks had passed and there was still no news from the Headmaster. Camden and I had decided to keep it between the two of us, at least until we found out for sure if I was related to Godric Gryffindor.

I kept going to tutoring and my lessons, but my teachers said soon I would have no need for the tutoring, as I was pretty well caught up. I was glad that I would have more free time, but somewhat sad at the same time. I enjoyed hanging out with Teddy and Camden. They were funny, but I got the feeling that once tutoring ended we would no longer be hanging out together.

I closed my textbooks that were sitting in the grass in front of me. It was a Saturday morning, and there was so many other things I could be doing instead of studying. I looked over at Blue and Cassandra who were looking over their books as well.

"Guys, Im not studying anymore." I said, standing up.

"Good!" exclaimed Blue, slamming her books closed. "I've been waiting for someone else to be done as well."

The three of us picked up our bags and made our way down to the lake. Fizzy, Victoire, Haylee, Thalia and Nina were all sitting at the edge the water, their toes in it. I dropped my bag and took off my shoes. Giggling, I ran all the way down the hill and jumped into the water. The lake was nice and cool. I swam over to the edge of the water and leaned my upper body on the grass.

"What are you doing!?" Victoire giggled.

"Swimming." I laughed, laying back in the water.

Victoire rolled her eyes. She leaned forward and reached a hand out to help me. I grabbed her hand and yanked her into the water. Vicky gasped and spit water out of her mouth.

"Tori!" She giggled, splashing water at me. I laughed and looked up at the other girls. "Anyone else want to join us?"

"You don't have to ask me twice!" Fizzy exclaimed, diving into the water. Nina, Blue and Cass followed her in, but Thalia hesitated. She at the edge, looking down into the water.

"I don't know, guys..." She let out a shriek as Haylee pushed her in from behind and jumped in after her. The girls all giggled and swam around, still in their day clothes. After a few minutes, a group of people appeared at the top of the hill. I giggled as Haylee's brother, Jake, tripped and rolled down the hill. He tried to stop but couldn't, and rolled right into the lake.

Teddy and the rest of his friends came running down the hill, and when I saw Teddy I slowly stopped laughing. His arm was slung around Wendy's shoulder. I felt a small pang of jealously in my stomach but pushed it to the side. Things would be easier if Teddy and I just remained friends.

Teddy dove in the water as did the rest of his friends. Wendy was the only who stayed out of the water. "Victoria? Could I please speak to you for a moment?"

I pulled myself out of the water and grabbed my wand. Remembering a spell we had learned in class that dries you off, I cast it and my dripping clothes became bone dry once more. I followed Wendy up the hill a bit until we were hidden behind a tree.

"What's up?" I asked her.

The blond folded her arms across her chest. "Listen. I want to keep things friendly, so I'm going to make this quick. Stay away from Teddy."

I blinked. "I'm sorry, what?"

"You heard me. Stay away from my boyfriend."

"Listen Wendy. I'm sorry if I was giving you the wrong impression, but Teddy and I are just friends... actually I'm not even sure if we are friends. He's my tutor. That's all, okay?"

"I don't care what you claim to be. All I know is Teddy has been acting differently ever since he's started 'tutoring' you, and I know it's because of you. So, I'm going to ask that you leave him alone so our relationship can go back to how it was before."

"I need Teddy to tutor me, so I'm not going to stay away from him. Besides, your problem's sound llike they're with your boyfriend; not me. Maybe you should bring up your concerns with him."

Wendy let out a huff as I turned around. "You're going to regret this, Victoria."

"Oh, I have no doubt in my mind that I will." I sighed. I had just made an enemy. Whatever happened now was beyond my control.
