Tori's P.O.V

It was strange. Reading about the Four Founders, never would I have imagined that I would be related to them. Apparently the four founders all had children, and they had children, and eventually some of the children got married to each other and so on and so forth. I couldn't keep track of the exact details, but I understood what it meant. My parents were each related to two Founders each, and so now I was related to all four. Magic had also decided to only appear in me, not my parents, nor their parents.

Word got out, and while the excitement lasted for what seemed like forever, it was weird. For once, people whispering and watching me out of the corners of their eyes was about me, not something I had allegedly done. I shouldn't have been complaining, but I just wanted for everyone to stop paying so much attention to me. It was hard to get Christmas shopping done when everyone keeps stopping you to ask if the rumors were true.

"Make way, everyone!" Cass yelled, standing off to one side of me.

"Yes, the rumors are true, so please put your tiny little minds back to the task of shopping for us! Thank you!" Haylee exclaimed, standing on the other side of me.

"Guys, could you keep it down, please?" I asked them. There was an old man who was looking quite frightened, and was making sure to stay as far away from us as possible.

"But it's fun making lots of noise." Grumbled Cass. "You should have realized by now how much Gryffindors love to be loud."

I raised my eyebrows at them both.

"Fine, your royal wizardly-ness." Haylee mock bowed. "We will stop screaming."

"Thank you." I laughed.

"We should all split up, anyway," Victoire added from in front of us. "We need to now shop for our gifts for each other, and we can't know where everyone is going."

We nodded and went our seprate ways. Once I knew no one was around, I pulled out my list and looked at the name.

CAMDEN

1. Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans

2. Appleby Arrows Merchandise

3. Invisibility Cloak

I had come to the decision that I would get Camden the Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans and something to do with the Appleby Arrows, since there was no way I could get him an Invisibility Cloak. After only an hour of shopping I managed to find a nice hat and the beans. I also persuaded the person at the cash to give me the mannequin head that the hat was displayed on, since it was hollow and I was able to stash the beans inside the head.

I made my way to the Three Broomsticks. Teddy had told me how they sold butterbeer there, and said it was amazing. He also assured me I would not get in trouble for drinking it on a school trip since there wasn't actually any alcohol in it. I was curious and wanted to try it, so when I entered and sat down at the table it was the first thing I ordered. A waitress brought me over the butterbeer and asked if I wanted anything else. I told her I was good and took a sip. Teddy was right, it was amazing.

Teddy. How could one blue haired boy make me feel so confused?

Before I saw him again, I had to decide what it was I was feeling. I stared hard at my drink. I did liked Teddy, but was it like in a friend way, or was it in a crush way. Yes, he was pretty cute, but he could also annoy me to the point where I wanted to hit him over the head wit a sledgehammer. Plus, if we dated, there would be no way to go back to being friends if it didn't work out. I did not want to risk it. I did not want to date Teddy.

I looked up to see Teddy sitting in front of me.

Forget it. I definetly did want to date Teddy.

Teddy's P.O.V

I laughed as Tori stared open- mouthed at me. If only I knew what was going on in her head.

I took a drink of my Butterbeer and put  shopping bags on the seat next to me. I took off my jacket and covered the bags with it. Soon enough everyone would be meeting back here again, and I did not want anyone seeing what I had bought.

"Well?" I asked her.

"W-well what?" She asked, looking like a deer in headlights.

"Are you just going to stare at me the entire time or are you going to say hi?" I laughed.

Tori rolled her eyes. "It looks like someone did quite a bit of Christmas shoping." She said, motioning to the pile of bags I had partially hidden under the coat.

"Yeah, well I have a big family. I have to buy at least five presents... six if I buy a separate one for Aunt Ginny and Uncle Harry.  It doesn't make it any easier that everyone likes different things in my family, so I have to go to different stores. How about you? How did you do?"

"I did okay. I only got two gifts... one for my secret santa and the other for my parents. I thought they might enjoy tasting the different candies."

"Did you get them Bertie's Botts Every Flavour Beans?"

"Of course!" She giggled. "I can't wait to hear what happens when they try them!"

"What do you mean hear?" I asked her.

Tori shrugged. "I'm not going home for Christmas. I'm staying at Hogwarts."

"How come?"

"Well they're not wizards. It's really expensive to fly back and forth between Europe and America, and we decided to just wait untill the school year is over for me to be with them again. It's no big deal, though. I can Skype or Facetime them on Christmas day so I get to see the family, and we're going to mail our presents to each other."

I watched her facial expressions. She was trying to act tough, but it was easy to see that she missed her parents. Who wouldn't? They were in a completely different country, and she had to wait untill the school year was over to see them again.

"Is anyone else staying over Christmas break?"

"No one that I know, but I'll be fine. I'll have lots of time to read and do all the school work."

"I'll ask to stay here then. It's still not too late for me to sign up to stay. They let people sign up right untill the moment that the train leaves."

"Teddy you are not going to do that."

"Why not! You shouldn't have to stay here all by yourself!"

"And you should be with your family on Christmas! Teddy you don't need to worry about me!" Tori giggled and shook her head. "I appreeciate the offer, but you are not going to spend your Christmas break stuck at school when you could be with your family."

I let the conversation drop and we were quickly joined by the rest of our friends. When we returned from Hogsmeade, though, it was a different story. I went straight to Headmaster McGonagall and asked her to get a message to my parents, for me.
