Teddy's P.O.V

The annual Hogwarts party planning was well underway. All the House Heads were in charge of planning it, and I was proud to say that this years party was going to be the best one ever. Today, Saturday, would hereby be known as the best party ever thrown at Hogwarts. We were going to have lights strung everywhere, a Christmas tree that handed out candy, mistletoe strung everywhere, and fog machines.

The House Heads were all preparing the chamber for the dance. It was where Uncle Harry had found the Basilisk when he was only in his second year, and it had since then been cleaned out. The professors didn't know we knew where it was, or how to use it, but this was Hogwarts. We figure things out, one way or another.

"Teddy, do you have the food that the house elves prepared?" Amanda, the Slytherin Head of House asked me.

"Yeah, it's all on the tables already." I said, motioning through the entrance. "Did you plant the invitations in everyone's dorms?"

"Yup. All the years  in each house were instructed different times to come, too. We can't have big parades of people sneaking around all at the same time; we'd be bound to get caught."

"Good, I'm glad you remembered that. We would have been shut down in no time if everyone was caught."

I helped finish set up the room and then returned to the Hufflepuff dormitories. We had to wait until an hour past curfew in order to head back down to the chamber. Since it was the Christmas Semi-Formal, the guys and I all pulled out our suits. The couple who had dates had bought ties that matched their dates' dresses.

We all sat around, joking around, waiting for the time to come where we could  finally leave for the dance.

Tori's P.O.V.

"Tori! Come out! I want to see the dress on you!" Nina screamed, banging on the door.

I looked in the mirror. Had I known about the Christmas Semi-Formal before today I could have bought a dress down in Hogsmeade. I was just lucky that Nina and I were the same size, and she had the same style in clothes as I did. The only problem was that she was darker than I was, so after looking through the variety of dresses she had, we decided the cream one would suit me best.

"If this dress disappears I don't know where it went." I said, opening the door. I was met with the excited gasps of Cass, Nina, Fizzy, Blue, Haylee and Victoire. We were all scheduled to leave at the same time, so we decided we may as well all get ready together.

"Okay, you can keep that because it is never going to look that good on me!" Nina exclaimed, inspecting me up and down. I was the last one to get dressed. I picked up a pair of white pumps that matched the piece of ribbon on the waist of the dress.

I looked at the other girls. Nina was wearing a pale blue dress, and Cass and Fizzy were each wearing different shades of red. Haylee was wearing a navy coloured dress, Victoire was wearing a dress the color of emeralds, and Blue was wearing a black dress.

We looked gorgeous.

All we had left to do was our hair. Luckily for us, Blue happened to know a spell that did your hair perfectly for no matter what you're wearing.

At exactly 10:30pm, an hour and a half past curfew, we were all ready to leave. Giggling, the girls linked arms and made their way to the out of order girls' bathroom on the first floor. Making sure to avoid any wandering teachers, they finally arrived at the bathroom.

Standing next to the sinks was a seventh year that I recognized as the Head of the Ravenclaw house. He was tall and wore glasses. He was wearing a suit with a navy tie, and his hair was styled perfectly. He bowed to the girls and kissed a giggling Haylee's hand. Saying a few words in Parseltongue, the sinks opened to reveal a sort of slide, with lights built into the wall.
