Tori's P.O.V.
A week later I was walking down one of the many staircases to the library. I was just about to enter when Teddy came around the corner. You couldn't help but notice that his hair was significantly shorter than usual.
"Oh, hey Teddy! I was just about to go in for our tutoring session-"
"Don't talk to me." Teddy growled. "I'm done tutoring you. I was allowed to stop two weeks ago but kept tutoring you because you were doing so well and I thought I could help you learn more of the stuff from this year, but we're done now."
"But...why?" I asked. "Did I do something?"
"Did you do something? How dare you ask that."
"I'm serious... what did I do?"
"Wendy told me all about how you hit her. She said you've been threatening her for the past month because Victoire is closer to her than you, and you felt jealous. She came to me last night with her with a black eye, a bruised lip, and a gash down the side of her leg. It was sickening. I never thought you were capable of doing something that awful. I thought you were nice, but obviously I was wrong."
"Teddy I didn't hit her! I would never do something like that!"
"Save it for the others." Teddy guffawed. "Have a nice rest of your life, Tori, because I for one will not be any part in it."
I watched as Teddy turned the corner and once he was out of sight I slumped down the wall. There goes our friendship, right out the window. I put my head in my hands and sighed. Wendy had warned me.
"This is just the beginning." Wendy's voice sang. I looked up to see her standing over me. "Your life is officially over here at Hogwarts."
"Why?" I asked. "It's not like I'm going to see him anymore."
"Not anymore, but you were going to. Because of that, I think you deserve to feel a bit more pain."
Wendy walked up the staircase, and when she reached the top turned back to blow Tori a kiss. Flipping her hair she turned back around and disappeared down a corridor.
Teddy's P.O.V.
I was furious. How dare Victoria threaten my girlfriend... How dare she threaten anyone!? This was Hogwarts, and news spread fast. I had no doubt that soon enough everyone would know what she had done. I did feel a small twinge of pity for her. Soon she would have no friends, and her life at Hogwarts would be ruined... After all, if she had done that after only being here for a short amount of time, who knew what else she would do.
Sighing, I walked on to the Quidditch pitch. Maybe things had worked differently at her Muggle school, but Hogwarts would not let this slip by. The headmaster would no doubt speak to her about this incident, and Victoria would be in serious trouble if anything else happened.
For some reason, I thought Victoria would be different. I thought that maybe she would be a genuinely nice person, and the two of us could be friends. Obviously that wasn't going to happen, but I couldn't help but be a little surprised. Victoria didn't seem like the type of person to hit or threaten someone. Was there a chance that Wendy had lied? You shrugged it off. Wendy wouldn't make up a rumour to that extent. I would just have to trust her. After all, where would a relationship be without trust between the two people?
I hopped on my broom, and practiced Quidditch for what seemed like only five minutes but what was most likely a few hours. Skipping dinner, I went to bed early, not wanting to catch Victoria's eyes by mistake. I fell asleep quietly, my head replaying Victoria's stunned face when I had confronted her.
