I cant write just in imagination
I cant write what I never felt
Im a poet not a story writer
I write with the mix of imagination
Not based on it
I cant imagine how lips feel on my mouth
I cant imagine having you by my side
I cant imagine loving you out loud
I cant imagine you loving me back
I cant imagine how your skin feels
I cant imagine the way our hands touch
I cant because I never felt it
I never experienced it
And I cant write it beautifully as the person who knows what it feels
I cant write it like its directly from movies and books
I cant write you
I never felt you
And no matter how much I try
Ill always write about brokeness and pain
Because thats all I felt with you
