I snuggle deep in my slumber
The world of my own
Encasing me soft.
This is where I co-exist
With the turn of the world
Slowly the heat disappears
Another degree less
The sun stretching out its limbs
Eyelids allowing the rays
To peek and caress
Until there it is
Untimed and unforced
The sun rises
The day signals its start
The reappearance
The big ball of warm
The crisp air
And perfect shot of heat
The rays provide
How can one not be in love
With the idea of
An untainted day
And its beautiful entrance
If only people woke up
Before it did
And saw how the world
Erased yesterday
And scribbled out a new color
Batch of blues
Wind and bird play
If only I fall in love with what I see
And the ideas I say
Should I be falling with the idea of living
When I know the proposition
Is full of gain and the best
But alas! I am open to the idea
Of letting- my eyes capture
What a new day is
But let my eye lids close
As I roll and sleep again
Because people feel like it is
What you call
An obligation to love
The idea of falling in life
But I am open to the idea letting life roll
As radiant as it came
