"This is totally unnecessary!" Lorelai shouted to her daughter from the porch to the car. "I said I was taking you to the doctors if you had anymore bouts of vomiting which you did!" Rory argued back whilst belting up. "I'll just be a waste of precious time!" Lorelai replied, still trying to fight her corner. "Better safe than sorry." Rory chimed. "You make me sick!" Lorelai declared, instantly regretting what she'd said. " Ha! Another point to add to my pro-con list." Rory said, divulging in her mother's ironic mistake. Lorelai gave her a scornful look and muttered something inaudible to the human ear.

Lorelai sat down, still in a mood, whilst Rory checked her in. "Dr Phillips will be available shortly." The polite woman on the desk told Rory. "Thank you." Rory replied with a smile." Lorelai yet again repeated how unnecessary this appointment was which only made Rory tune out. "Hey, are you listening?" Lorelai asked. "Um... no." Rory replied. "Lorelai Gilmore?" Dr Phillips called out as Rory pulled her mom out of her seat reluctantly. "Please come through." The doctor said with a smile. After a few minutes, the doctor told her there was nothing physical wrong with her which meant a blood sample would be needed as well as a urine sample. It took a while for the results to come back so he sent them outside into the waiting room for around 10 minutes whilst he got them analysed.

"Lorelai Gilmore?" Dr Philips called once again. "I have results. Do you want to come by yourself or with your daughter?" The doctor asked her. "Whatever I know, she knows." She replied as they both walked through to his room. "Take a seat." He told them. They both sat down slowly becoming more concerned. "Lorelai, you're pregnant." Dr Philips told her. Rory and Lorelai sat there in silence for a minute or two. "Pregnant?" Lorelai asked astoundingly. "Yes, it's extremely early and we were only just able to tell but it came back positive." The doctor assured her. "B-but we used condoms?" Lorelai told him in disbelief. "They are only 97% certain to prevent pregnancies and you were one of those 3%." Dr Phillips recited the facts. "I'll book you in at a later date but come back if you have any concerns." Concerns. Concerns! Her mind was racing with concerns and questions which she pondered asking, but kept them to herself. "Thanks doctor." She replied still in shock as she stepped out the door followed by her daughter. As they walked to the car in silence, Rory finally opened her mouth. "So you're pregnant." Rory said, trying to break the ice. "I guess so." Lorelai admitted. "What do I do?" Lorelai asked Rory whilst suddenly bursting into tears. Rory ran around to her mothers side and hugged her tight whilst Lorelai poured her heart out with tears strolling down her face. Rory couldn't help but shed a tear or two at the same time due to the fact she could now see how much her mother was hurting with the whole April situation. "How do I tell Luke?" Lorelai blubbered. "What if he doesn't want to be with me anymore!" Rory was taken aback. "Hey! Luke will definitely not turn his back on you. He is completely and utterly in love with you and he will always treasure you no matter what! You do know that right?" Rory asked questionably. "Of course I do, I don't know what I'm saying. I'm just overwhelmed by everything with the inn, the wedding and with not being able to see my future step-daughter." Lorelai exclaimed. "Come on, let's get you home." Rory said to her mother as she wiped the tears which were rolling down her cheeks as they both hopped into the car and went home.

Rory had to go and visit Lane due to some issues she was currently having and left Lorelai pacing back and forth in the living room whilst contemplating the thought of telling Luke about the pregnancy. She was terrified to tell him the news as he knew how occupied he had been with April recently which made her even more anxious to what his reaction could possibly be. Suddenly, the doorbell chimed loudly. Lorelai slowly opened the front door and was greeted with a kiss as Luke walked in. They decided to watch ' Casablanca' whilst Lorelai ate a bunch of twizzlers. After the film ended, Luke began to cuddle Lorelai which indicated that she should probably start breaking the news to him.

"Luke." Lorelai said nervously. "Yeah?" Luke questioned. "Why won't you let me see April? I know you said it was too soon but it hurts that I'm not even allowed to know my own step-daughter to be." Lorelai voiced as she felt Luke's whole body tense up. "Listen Lorelai, I thought we talked about this! It's just too soon." Luke told Lorelai in an agitated tone. "I know we've talked about it! But how will I know how we would be together as parents if you won't let me be involved! Lorelai responded, with tears beginning to stream down her face. Luke looked over at Lorelai and wiped her face with his thumb. "Hey, what's going on? What's with the tears and what's with the parent talk all of a sudden?" Luke asked Lorelai whilst lots of questions raced through his head. "I didn't mean for this to come out in an argument. All day I have been thinking non-stop about how I was going to tell you about this. Lorelai continued. "What is it Lorelai? Luke asked her, quite concerned. "I'm pregnant."

Luke sat perched on the couch, frozen to the spot. "Pregnant?" Luke asked, needing confirmation. "Pregnant." Lorelai assured him. He kissed her passionately on the lips as she pulled him in tight. "So you're not mad?" Lorelai asked him. "Mad? I'm not mad. Overwhelmed? Slightly. Definitely not mad." Luke reassured her as he kissed her yet again. Luke began to undo her shirt buttons whilst beginning to plant tiny little kisses down her chest until he reached the bone of her black lace bra. Lorelai concentrated on undoing his checkered shirt and pulled his undershirt over his head instantly. Luke passionately kissed Lorelai's bare neck as she let a small moan escape. Luke began to undo her jeans leaving her in just her underwear as she unbuckled his jeans whilst teasing him at the same time. Without any warning, he lifted Lorelai up as she wrapped her legs around his as he gently pushed her up against the wall. Lorelai could feel his bulge when he pressed against her, which majorly turned her on. She cupped his face in her hands and kissed him until the two of them were unable to breathe. Luke then continued to carry Lorelai up the stairs into their bedroom, not bothering to lock the door. As Lorelai landed on the bed, she giggled and kissed him again until she was on top. She began to work on his neck and then made her way down to his core which made him groan with anticipation. She touched him in every single sensitive spot she had ever found which pleased him incredibly. Suddenly, he flipped her over and undid her bra from the clasps which made her feel a sudden pleasurable feeling of relief. As he started to kiss her from her neck and downwards, he stopped and kissed the area of her inner thigh. Lorelai couldn't wait anymore, she needed him.

Many moans escaped Lorelai and Luke's bedroom that night. Rory came in rather late and well oiled, so to speak, and for some reason was happy to see her mother and Luke's clothes on the floor which obviously meant he took everything well, that is if she had told him she was pregnant. After they were both well worn out, Lorelai turned around to face Luke. "I love you, I hope you know that." Lorelai exclaimed to her fiancé. "I wouldn't have guessed." Luke responded with a wink. They both shared another passionate kiss and as Lorelai turned the other way, Luke placed his palm on Lorelai's still extremely flat stomach. "Goodnight." Luke said whilst he kissed her neck gently before settling down whereas a smile appeared on Lorelai Gilmore's face.
