Well it's eight days until my babies birthday and they've been bugging me for the one present they want the most. A puppy.

I think it's a good idea but Prince thinks they're too young. I was five when I got my first dog, so no they're not too young.

I was downstairs with Prince watching tv, when I see my three little babies running downstairs and over to me.

Now I messed up and said that Bri's babies are five well not yet because my babies turn five before hers, so they're all four for now.

Kids-Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!

Me-Yes babies

Jasmine-Mommy daddy we need to talk

I looked at Prince, who turned the tv down.

Me-We're all ears baby girl

Jasmine-Can we please get a puppy?

Jaylen-For our birthday?

Jac-We've been good

Me-Jakey baby it's not even your birthday

Jac-But I want a puppy too

I looked at Prince and smiled. Prince looked away and sighed.

Me-Come on baby. They want a puppy

Prince-They're four and almost five

Me-I had a puppy at five and how would you feel if your mom told you that you couldn't have Beans

Prince-Aye aye aye don't go there. Beans is my life long dog

Me-Ok well let them have a life long dog

Prince looked at them and they had pleading eyes.

Prince-Ok you can have a puppy

They celebrated and I turned Prince's head toward me and kissed him.

Me-Good job daddy

Prince-Yea Yea Yea

Jasmine-Can we get the puppy today please?

Me-I think that's a good idea

Prince-You're pushing it

Me-But I'll make it up to you

Me-Go get your shoes

Kids-Yay!!!!!!!

They ran upstairs and I got up and walked over to the stairs until I got pulled back by Prince.

Prince-You owe me double big time

Me-Well come on, we have a puppy to get

I went upstairs, put my shoes on, then went back downstairs to find three ready and very excited kids.

Prince came downstairs and we went to the kennel. Once we got down there we went up to the front desk and the kids could barley contain themselves.

Cashier-Hi I'm Emily. How may I help you today?

Me-Hi we're here to get a puppy

Emily-Ok do you have a specific breed in mind?

Me-No we don't
