Chapter 3

Romeo:'s POV:

Waking up, I felt something on my chest. I opened my eyes, seeing one of Wendy's arms wrapped around it, her other leg wrapped around my waist.

"What the heck..." I muttered.  Shaking her off, I got out of bed, then got ready. Seeing that she was still asleep, I made breakfast.

"Wendy, wake up!" I shook her.

Her eyes barely opened, then closed again. "Romeo....kun....give me five....more hours." She mumbled.

"Geez! I never knew you had such a hard time waking up!" I complained. "I'm heading out. There's breakfast on the table." I said. I took a step, but fell back, my head resting on the edge of the bed.

"Just...stay here." Wendy said sleepily, her hand weakly holding onto my wrist.  I sat up as her grip slowly softened.

"I-I need to get going s-soon. S-sorry." I stuttered. Don't touch me so suddenly out of the blue! Stupid Wendy! I frowned, embarrassed.

"Then just wait for me." She groaned. She slowly sat up with half opened eyes.

I sighed, closing my eyes. "Hurry up then!" I looked over at her. She. Fell. Back.

With a tick mark on my head, I grabbed both of her wrists, then pulled her out of the bed.

"Ow....that hurts Romeo..." She mumbled drowsily, then went back to sleep. On the floor.

"Geez. What am I going to do with you?" I smiled slightly. Arching my eyebrows with a mischievous smirk, I went to the bathroom, getting a normal sized bucket. After filling it with ice-cold water, I slowly walked over to her. Towering over Wendy' defenseless body, I slowly tipped the bucket, then turned it completely over. The cold water drenched her entire body.

Instantly sitting up, Wendy, while shaking, slowly turned to face me. A death glare; the first thing I saw through that terrifying shadow formed by her hair.

"Romeo, you..... STUPID!!!!" She punched me, failing. With wobbly knees, she slowly got onto them. "So...cold..." She shivered. Looking at me again, she said menacingly, "Why did you do that? You know I'm the worst in the morning." A horrifying smile crept up onto her face. "By any chance, do you have a really, really, REALLY sharp kitchen knife?"

"Gaaaah!!!! I'm sorry!!! I just went a bit overboard! You wouldn't wake up so I couldn't think of anything else!" I spoke without taking any breaths in between. "Um... Please don't kill me!" I got onto my knees.

"Oh, is that all? You should have said so!" She chuckled, smiling angelically.

"Huh?" I looked up.

She fell back down, closing her eyes.

Wait. Don't tell me....she was half asleep?! "HOW CAN YOU GO BACK TO SLEEP AFTER GETTING SPLASHED BY A BUCKET OF WATER?!" I yelled.

"I really can't wake you up, can I?" I sighed.
