What is it with all this growling?

I'm just trying to sleep here and some dog just wants to interrupt me. The dog from down the street was always a pain in the ass. The owners would always let Bucky out of the house at five in the morning and the thing would go up the street to where our house was. Feisty dog. Annoying also. Always growling so loud it would wake me up with the freaking sunrise. Then it had the audacity to bark at me when I would try to get him down the street again. Dad almost got bitten by that little sh-wait.

What?

I tried opening my eyes as fast as I could, but they were so heavy I couldn't even get them fully open. I could see my shadow in the street since Mia parked on the far left side of it; the sunrise coming from the left also is making my shadow take up the space of the narrow street along with the cars shadow below me. I had somehow ended up laying on my stomach, and my right arm along with my lower right leg were hanging off the right side of the car. It was still kind of gloomy so I couldn't see much; plus my eyesight decided not to function properly making me blink to try and focus on something specific.

The only thing that I could actually make out were two red eyes not far from where I was; maybe five feet in front of me. Not moving. Just there. Now what the hell is this?

I tried to sit up, but my head was pounding. I felt a drop of sweat dripping down the side of my face so I lifted my right arm and wiped it off, but it felt...sticky. I brought my hand close to my eyes and saw red. Blood?

I found the strength to move my limbs properly so that I could be lying on my back. Once I did that I sat up slowly trying to ignore the headache I had. I was now sitting down with my legs falling slightly towards the front window of my car while my arms supported me. A sudden gush of wind passed and my arms slightly shivered. When did I take of my leather jacket? I shut my eyes tightly once I heard the growling again -now louder- and blinked rapidly trying to make my eyes focus.

I looked towards the direction of the red eyes I saw earlier and leaned a bit closer squinting my eyes in the progress trying to help my focusing. When I did that I could clearly see that they were not red eyes. They were tale lights.

I blinked a couple more times only to see a figure walk towards the lights with something in it's shoulder. I was so dizzy at this point that processing this was very difficult. What the hell is happening?

"Hey." I tried to shout but it came out like I would normally talk. Only more groggy. I took in a sharp breath and tried again.

"HEY." I shouted loud enough for the figure to stop walking and turn towards me. The figure slowly walked a bit towards my car but stopped at the middle of the both cars.

Cars.

Lucy...

"Gretchen?" I asked loud enough for her to hear me. Her smirk confirmed my statement.

"Yes?" She asked in the most annoyingly sweet voice you could ever imagine. My headache increased.

"What the hell are you doing? What is that? And where's Lucy and Caleb anyway?" I asked her still trying to adjust myself. Why was I so freaking dizzy? I felt a drop of sweat falling so I wiped it off and once again it was blood. What?

"Lucy and Caleb are in the car, and this is a duffle bag." She answered while walking towards the car with the extremely annoyingly bright tale lights. I couldn't even see the damn car.

I turned around not caring to stop her because she was going to leave sooner or later right? We would've found her a car, and she would've left. Once I was completely facing Lucy's c- where's Lucy's car?
