The day after karma comes back...
Karma POV
Nagisa told me to meet him by the cliff after school so that's where I was heading. I see him sitting on a fallen tree, waiting.
"Oh Karma! You made it!"
"Of course I did."
"I thought you might ditch me just like you ditch class."
"Why would I skip out on a chance to see my friend?" He looked up at me with the cutest dumbfounded face.
"I know the last time we talked... I didn't say goodbye." He stared at his feet which were hanging off the tree.
"C'mon Nagi-chan you're scaring me. Back away from the cliff." I hold my hand out. He takes it with a sad smile.
"I wouldn't die right now. Not here. And not on purpose."
"I'm the only one who gets to kill you." I pull him into a hug, far away from the edge.
"Is that your weird way of saying you love someone?" He laughs like its a joke.
"Yes."
