"Nagisa!" Karma jumps on my back to grab my attention.
"What?!" I stumble forward with a nervous squeak.
"I've got plans for you! You're coming with me tonight." He whispers in my ear. Does he mean alone? Because I can't be alone without making it awkward. "Maehara is bringing Isogai along too. It'll be fun."
"Karma... you know I like hanging out, but it's a school night."
"I'll get you home at a reasonable time, unless you decide you'd rather stay the night." He winks while letting go of me.
"NO."

Isogai and I arrive at the restaurant, finding Karma and Maehara in a small booth in the opposite corner. We walk over together, sitting in the empty side.
"One night a year Muramatsu makes a vow to not speak of anybody he sees in here. All the frequenters know about it."
"That's why we brought you here."
"You guys are dating?" Isogai and I tilt our heads in confusion.
"No!" Maehara rolls his eyes and grabs Isogai's hand. "I was trying to take you on a date. I have been trying to get you jealous forever, but then it turned into trying to get over you... but I want to tell you now! I want to tell you I love you and I couldn't be happier if you wanted to date."
"Is this why you brought me here?" I turn to Karma, entirely ignoring the two beside us.
"Well I had something planned to say but now they're having a moment andIalsolostmynotecard so I'll leave you with this. I would love to go out with you for real." He puts a hand on the table, palm upturned, slightly closed. I grab it slowly, wrapping my fingers around his.
"You... I thought you'd never ask."
