"Oh my fuck he's calling!"

"Shh! Shut up!!"

"Answer it! Answer it!"

"Put him on speaker!"

"Hey, Nagisa!" Oof, that was kind of high-pitched. The girls give me a look. I move the mic from my phone and whisper. "Too fake?" They give me an 'Are you stupid?!' nod and gesture to the phone hurriedly.

"Hey... so I don't know what's going around school but I heard some rumors and stuff... you know what, I don't think you want to talk over the phone. How about we get lunch or ice cream or something." Since when is Nagisa worried about rumors? And not meeting up in person is much easier.

"Um sure. Where?" Must be serious if he actually wants to meet up.

"The ice cream shop that's in the park we walk past from school."

"I can meet up whenever, but, what rumors? I didn't kill anyone, you know that."

"It's about more... personal stuff. I'll be there in ten." Personal stuff? Like what?

"Okay... see you there?"

"Yea." He hung up.

"I know it's not insulting and whatever... but people have been saying you're gay?"

"Oh?"

"I just thought you should know."

"Thanks."

"But... is it true?"

"I mean, kinda. I'm Demi-Bi."

"Oh..." He looks to the ground, biting his lip in thought.

"Why'd you ask? Interested?" I raise a brow, making a funny kissy face.

"I don't know, maybe?" He's holding one arm with the other, staring up through his bangs.

"What? Really?" He gives a weak nod. "Nagisa if you are anything near serious I'm going to need to know."

"I mean, kinda! You're the smartest person I've ever met and you were nice to me when you had no reason to be!"

"That's because you try so fucking hard and you are just so smart at so many other things! It's raw talent that I thought I was jealous of, I mean I know now that I just found it super attractive, but still!"

"What?!"

"You're cute, Okay!"

"Well you're cute too!"

"Really?"

"Yea!"

"Then!... then do you want to date?"

"Um, yea... that'd be nice."

"Nice!"
