Mitch handed Jack his lunch box and kissed him on top of the head, then doing the same for Tina.

"Have a good day! See you later today!" Scott yelled as he watched their kids hop onto the bus to be taken to school for their first day.

Mitch sighed and turned around in Scott's arms as the bus drove away, "I miss them already."

Scott pecked Mitch's forehead and grinned, "They will be fine, they're good kids what could go wrong?"

Mitch rolled his eyes and shut the door, sitting next to Scott, "A lot of things could happen. I'm just worried about the bullies, what if they get picked on because of us?"

"It's 2016, people have been more accepting of gay relationships." Scott assured Mitch as he pulled him onto his lap, "I think we need to do something to occupy your brain."

"Great, you can help me go shopping for food." Mitch said while laying his head on Scott's shoulder.

"Not a problem, love." Scott whispered as he kissed behind Mitch's ear.

Scott pulled on his shoes and grabbed the grocery list, "Ready to go baby?"

Mitch nodded and made his way to the car. He sat down in the passengers seat, letting Scott drive.

As soon as the car started Mitch reached for Scott's hand, which was sitting on the center council, and rested it on his thigh.

Scott grinned and held onto Mitch's leg, "Do you remember before we were dating, I used to hold your knee like this?"

"Yeah you were a total flirt." Mitch giggled.

Scott chuckled and parked the car, letting go of Mitch's leg. They both walked into the store and grabbed a shopping cart.

"What do we need honey?" Scott asked as he looked over Mitch's shoulder at the list.

They both scanned over it and pushed the cart to the food section.

"I'll be right back I'm going to go get milk, you get the rest." Mitch said as he made his way over to the milk.

He glanced at all of it and couldn't find the brand that they usually get, so he walked into the storage room to find help.

He looked around and only heard the sound of the distant machinery. A shiver rippled up his spine as he felt eyes burning into him, so he slowly backed out.

He was almost back in the open of the store until someone grabbed him and yanked him forewords.

"Mitch?" A voice yelled.

Mitch immediately closed his eyes when he felt the person grab him, now slowly opening them, "T-Travis?"

Travis was standing in front of Mitch, holding his delicate wrists so he wouldn't go any where. Travis had thinned out, gotten a scruffy beard, and new glasses. Other than that, he looked almost the same.

"Y-Yeah, it's me." Travis said softly as he released his grip from Mitch, "How have you been?"

Mitch was frozen with fear and didn't know what to do with himself. He tried to open his mouth to talk, scream, yell for help, but nothing was coming out.

"I get it if you're still scared of me, I was an asshole. I'm so, so sorry for hurting you when we were kids." Travis apologized.

Mitch widened his eyes and shut his mouth, backing up slightly.

Travis sighed and met Mitch's eyes, "Listen I really want to explain myself to you, can we meet up for lunch sometime?"

Mitch blinked a few times and scanned Travis's face, "Umm, I-I don't know."

"Please? I don't want you to be scared of me anymore. I really changed, you don't need to be afraid anymore." Travis said.

Mitch shifted his weight from one leg to the other, his mind screaming at him to get out of there, "Umm, sure, when and where?"

~

Mitch was silent the whole ride home. He just ran into his abusive ex and agreed to have lunch with him next week. Half of Mitch wanted to see what Travis would say, and what excuse he came up with on why he treated him the way he did. And the other half was scared what Travis would do if Mitch denied him.

"Everything okay darling?" Scott asked sweetly.

Mitch flashed a fake smile and nodded his head, "E-Everything's okay, thank you."

Scott pulled into the drive way and grabbed groceries to take inside. Mitch grabbed some too and opened up his car door.

"Honey, you look a little pale, you go inside and I'll take the bags in." Scott said as he examined Mitch's white face.

Mitch set the bags down and stumbled inside the house. He wanted to throw up, he had planned on never seeing Travis ever again and he suddenly showed up into his life.

He wanted to tell Scott, but something in his mind said that it wasn't a good idea.

Scott started to put the food away and glanced at Mitch, "Are you sure you're okay? Want me to run you a warm bath?"

"Would you?" Mitch asked weakly. Scott dropped the bags and jogged to the bathroom to draw him a bath.

Mitch sat down on the couch and looked up at the ceiling, his brain going a hundred miles a minute.

"It's ready baby, whenever you're ready." Scott said a few minutes later.

Mitch grinned and pushed himself up, moping to the bathroom.

Scott finished putting the food away a few minutes later and knocked lightly on the bathroom door, "Can I come in honey?"

Mitch mumbled a yes and met Scott's eyes as he entered the room. He kneeled next to the tub and ran his fingers through Mitch's hair, "What's going on? Are you stressing about Jack and Tina again?"

"No, I-I just felt a little sick at the store is all." Mitch only half lied, he did feel sick that he saw Travis.

"Awe, anything I can get you?" Scott asked.

"Just love and kissed." Mitch responded.

Scott leaned forward to plant a kiss on Mitch's delicate lips and one on his nose, "Well I'm going to go clean house before the kids destroy it again, unless you want me to stay with you?"

"No, go clean so I don't have to do it later." Mitch mumbled as he sunk deeper into the warm water.

Scott chuckled and ran his thumb over Mitch's cheek bone, "Okay, just yell if you need anything."

Mitch kissed Scott's knuckle before he left and closed his eyes to think. He planned out the lunch with Travis and the excuse he would give to Scott in his head.

He hated lying, especially to his husband because he does so much for him. Scott doesn't deserve the lies, he deserves someone who will be a good husband towards him.

But what will one lunch hurt right?
