Mitch was gripping onto Scott's hand as they traveled inside the cave with the rest of the tour group. They were riding on a truck which would take them to all the touristy spots in the cave.
"It's dark in here." Mitch whispered as they entered the cave.
Scott kissed the top of Mitch's head and chuckled a little, "There's absolutely nothing in here that is a threat to you, just enjoy the view."
Mitch looked to his right where he saw crystals hanging down. Mitch smiled and felt the truck they were in, pull foreword.
"We are entering an old diamond mine now, it is not uncommon for people to find specks of diamonds in places. Y'all can get out of the truck and search for a few minutes. Feel free to keep the diamonds you find, since they are usually so small they aren't worth much." The tour guide said as he pulled the truck over.
Scott tugged on Mitch's hand to lead him out of the truck, "Let's go look around."
Mitch hesitantly stepped out of the truck and looked at the dark ground. There were lights on the sides of the cave, but it wasn't that bright.
"Scotty you know I'm scared of the dark." Mitch whispered as he clung to Scott's arm.
"Focus on the ground to take your mind off it, maybe you'll find something." Scott said as he wrapped an arm around his husband, "But if you really are that scared we can go into the truck."
"N-No we can stay, I'm just scared is all." Mitch responded.
After a few minutes of walking around the dim cave, the tour guide called them back to the truck to continue the tour.
As they started to turn back, Mitch stopped walking and held Scott's hand tighter.
"What's wrong baby?" Scott asked.
Mitch pointed to the ground and looked up at Scott, "Pick that up."
Scott followed Mitch's finger and saw that he was pointing to a small gleaming figure under some dirt.
He picked it up and dusted it off, smiling widely when he realized it was a diamond.
"Did I find a diamond?" Mitch's asked while batting his eye lashes.
Scott chuckled a little at Mitch's cuteness and let him hold the glass, "You did!"
"Let's go show the tour guide your discovery." Scott said as he ushered Mitch to the truck.
Mitch sat down and stared at the diamond, "What are we gonna do with this?"
Scott grinned and kissed Mitch's cheek, "How about I get the diamond made into something for you?"
Mitch grinned widely and nodded, "I want a bracelet!"
"Did anyone find any diamonds?" The tour guide asked over the intercom.
Mitch held up his discovery while smiling, "I did!"
The tour guide looked at it and widened his eyes, "Oh my, that's larger than most people find. You are very lucky."
Mitch looked up at Scott and pecked his lips, "Yes I am."

Scott and Mitch were cuddling on the couch with Mitch laying on top of Scott's chest. Scott was rubbing Mitch's back with one hand resting on his ass.
Mitch kissed Scott's chest and sat up, "I'm going to get the wine we bought."
Scott nodded and saw Mitch come back a few seconds later with two bottles of wine.
"We should talk." Mitch said with a sigh as he sat down next to Scott.
"About what?" Scott asked as he opened the two bottles of wine.
"Let's get drunk first." Mitch said as he sat back and took a long sip from the bottle.

A few hours later all the alcohol in the house was gone and they were pretty much drunk.
"W-What did you want to talk about Mitchie?" Scott slurred.
Mitch blinked a few times and rubbed his eyes, "Oh yeah, well it just crossed my mind earlier today."
Scott waited patiently for Mitch to continue speaking and kept taking short sips of his drink.
"Well, how come you weren't freaking out when you saw me with T-Travis?" Mitch asked hesitantly.
Scott bit his lower lip and shrugged, "It's not a big deal."
"In high school you thought it was a big deal, and now you don't even care I was around him."
Scott shrugged, "I trust you is all."
"Why are you fidgeting so much?" Mitch asked a few seconds later.
Scott sighed and looked down with watery eyes, "I really don't want any problems in our marriage and I don't want to tell you this the day before our anniversary."
Mitch immediately felt a wave of heat come over him and he started to sweat, "Tell me what?"
"That." Scott wiped his eyes with his sleeve and moved away from Mitch slightly, "I cheated on you with Travis."
Mitch took a few minutes to process this information, when he did tears began to fall heavily, "N-No, you're kidding."
Scott shook his head while hiding his face in his knees, "C-Can I explain?"
"Please do before I leave you right now." Mitch said as he stood up angrily.
"I went out with friends that one night a few months ago when Travis just moved here. And I ran into Travis there after a f-few beers. The drunk side of me didn't see him as a threat and he told me he just moved here and he said he wanted me to come see his new house." Scott explained as he took a deep breath, "A-And I went, and he kept giving me alcohol. Then he kissed me and I tried to push him off but he said he was stressed because of moving and everything so I let him."
"This doesn't explain why you didn't care that I was friends with him." Mitch said angrily.
"W-When I saw him in our house I just froze, I haven't seen him in months and I didn't know what to do!" Scott explained.
Mitch thought for a few moments before sitting down on the couch, "I don't know what to do with you Scotty, you know I love you a lot but this isn't okay. Cheating on your husband isn't okay."
Scott nodded furiously, "A-And the reason I didn't want to be intimate with you recently is because I felt wrong that I slept with Travis and I didn't want to sleep with both of you in the same month. It just felt wrong."
"What am I supposed to do Scott?" Mitch asked, "You better tell me before I make the wrong decision."
"W-We should just work this out, let's set rules, let's cut some people out of our lives, let's get a stable and normal family going." Scott said.
"I don't even know if you are worth my time anymore. You have called me a slut and made fun of me for my past sexual experiences many times, you cheated on me, and lied. I just don't know about this anymore." Mitch said while running his fingers through his hair.
Scott stayed quiet for a few minutes and continued to wipe the tears from his face, "Can we just go back to cuddling and let everything go?"
Mitch thought for a minute and stood up, "I will not be your second option, and I will not be someone who you can throw around like is nothing. I deserve better than this, I deserve better than you."
And with that, Mitchell Coby Michael Grassi left the building.
