Scott and Mitch made plans to meet up with their childhood friend Kirstie, and Kevin.

They all decided to meet up at the coffee shop across the road from the gas station, the one that Mitch worked at.

Mitch walked in the door, followed by Scott. He looked around and saw his old boss Esther making coffee. He grinned and ran up to the counter to give her a hug.

"Esther! It's me Mitch!" Mitch screamed while hugging her from behind. She turned around in his arms and hugged back immediately.

"Mitchie oh my gosh I haven't seen you in forever!" Esther said with a surprised tone.

Mitch smiled, "I know! And do you remember my high school boyfriend? I married him!"

Esther looked behind Mitch to see Scott standing there, "Awe that's so cute! So what are you doing here?"

"We were just visiting, and we are meeting old friends here." Mitch explained.

The bell that was on the door rang, signaling someone was entering the shop. They all looked over to see Kevin walking in with someone behind him.

"Hey Kevin, who's this?" Mitch asked while greeting him. Kevin glanced at Scott with a smile, "This is Scott's old boss Avi."

"Avi! Oh my gosh!" Scott said as he gave him a hug, "What a nice surprise!"

"So what are you up to now?" Mitch asked Kirstie.

She shrugged, "I went to college for a few years and got a degree in general education. Which isn't much but it's something. Now I'm actually working on becoming a singer."

"I'm actually working on entering the music career too! I'm going to open a recording studio." Kevin said.

"I've always been interested in music, I joined an a capella group in college and I was the bass." Avi said, "Are y'all interested in music?"

Scott noticed Avi was talking to him and his husband, so he nudged Mitch to answer. Mitch smiled a little, "We don't take singing seriously or anything. But sometimes we sing just for fun at our local gay bar or small festivals happening around town."

"Can we hear you sing?" Kirstie asked. Mitch's face turned a bright shade of pink, "I'm pretty shy with my singing around people I know, it hurts more if they judge me."

"We would never judge you, but if it makes you more comfortable how about we all sing?" Kevin suggested. They all shrugged and decided to harmonize once.

"Awe your singing voice is so high pitched and pretty, I love it." Kirstie said with a grin, "We should sing a song now."

Avi gasped and spoke up, "We can do a song in a capella form! I can be the bass, and Kevin can beatbox really well. Let's sing like a Christmas song, 'Angels we have heard on high'. Everyone know the song?"

"Me and Scott can sing the back ups for the first part, and Mitch can sing the lead for the first part. And we can point to the next person to sing lead." Kirstie suggested. They all began singing with Scott and Kirstie with the opening.

"Angels we have heard on high, sweetly singing o're the plains. And the mountains in reply, echoing their joyous strains." Mitch shyly sang as he pointed to his husband to take over.

"Angels we have heard on high, singing sweetly through the night. And the mountains in reply, echoing their brave delight." Scott sang with confidence.

They all sang the rest of the song without any hiccups, and when they were done they all sat there in silence staring at each other.

"Are we just going to ignore how fucking amazing that was?" Avi said with a chuckle, "A capella is not easy, and we just nailed that on our first try!"

"We should post a cover on youtube!" Kevin said with excitement, "And see what happens."

"I don't know guys, I don't want the whole world seeing me sing. I'm only comfortable with singing in front of small groups of people." Mitch said with a frown.

"We can just voice record ourselves, and put the song name on the front screen. It doesn't have to show our faces and we can stay anonymous." Scott said while putting an arm around Mitch, "But we don't have to, baby."

Mitch thought for a minute and shrugged, "I guess."

They all grinned and thanked Mitch as Kirstie pulled out her phone to record themselves, "Ready guys?"

A couple days later Scott and Mitch were about to leave to go back home, until Kevin asked for them to all meet up again.

They walked into the same coffee shop and sat down next to the rest of the group. Kevin pulled out his computer and showed them the video they posted a few days ago.

"It has a million views." Kevin stated flatly. Everyone was confused until they saw the screen and got excited.

"How?" Kirstie screamed excitedly.

Kevin smiled, "I already have quite a following on social media because of my cello boxing videos, and I guess all my 'fans' saw the video and shared it a bunch of times."

Mitch's face started to heat up as he shuffled in his seat, "So is that why you called us here?"

"Well, I was gonna see if y'all wanted to make another cover." Kevin asked, "We could post it, and see where that goes too."

Everyone thought for a minute until Scott spoke up, "Is this just so more people will see your cello boxing videos?"

"Not at all, I could even make a separate youtube channel where we just post covers if you want." Kevin said defensively.

"This isn't going to be a regular thing so there's no point." Scott said, "But that would be cool."

"Why can't it?" Kirstie asked, "We could get together every once in a while and film a whole bunch and post them until we meet up again."

They all looked at each other until a smile spread on their faces, "Start a separate channel." Mitch commanded.
