Chapter 14 - When Things Get Difficult

Meg's POV

"Thanks." He said breaking the silence that had taken over.

"For what?" I asked as if i did't knew what he was talking about.

It's just weird he's thanking me for a little favor while i have kidnapped him.

"For you know takin care of me and not hurting me and being nice." Yeah very nice.

"Oh, you're welcome." I smiled and he smiled back.

"So is there any chance you'll let us free soon?" he asked. Of course he'd ask that. The only reason he's being nice is cause he wants me to let him free. I don't blame him.

"I told you i'm not sure when we'll let you guys go." I said.

"But you're keeping us for no reason."

"There's actually this reason. But you'll find out once we clear some things out." I said.

"What things? Tell me!" he begged.

"No. I-i'm just not ready to talk about it. I didn't even want to do this. Sam and Jess dragged me in and now i have to go along. If it was up to me i'd let you guys out now!" i said not sure if i really meant it. I mean, i can get in trouble if they tell the police. But i'll also get in trouble if someone finds out we have kidnapped them.

"I doesn't have to up to Sam. It can be up to you! It will get worse if you keep us any longer. Just let us go now and we'll forget about what happened." He said. For some reason i trusted him, but i don't want to rush into anything.

"I-i don't know." I said.

"Meg, don't you realize your friend dragged you into something illegal and dangerous. This could get you in big trouble. Your parents will go to jail and god knows where you girls might end up. Just end it now! I promised you i wouldn't tell anyone."

"No." I said in a low voice.

"Wh-what?" he asked confused.

"Maybe you won't but the others will. Did you see how angry Zayn was?" i said.

"I'll convince them." He said.

"How will you convince them? Guys i know we got kidnapped but let's not tell anyone kk?" i tried to mock his voice.

"No.. i can convince them not to tell anyone. As long as we're all safe it doesn't matter if anyone goes to jail." He said.

"But you're all safe here." I said.

"Meg, we all have so much work to do and you're just making it worse. We have to give concerts and record our new album and-" i cut him off.

"That shouldn't matter." I said. "As long as you're safe." I added.

"So you're not letting us go?" he said and i nodded. "But you said you would." He said in a lower tone.

"If it was up to me." I added.

"But doesn't it bother you that no one's asking for your opinion?" he said.

"I-" i started to say but he cut me off.

"They dragged you into this without your will they should at least listen to you."

Sam's POV

"You're so stupid!" i said inbetween laughs.

Louis was telling me a funny story from his childhood.

"Thanks, i try." He smiled and i laughed again.

He's so fun to be with. I'm glad at least one of them isn't mad about this kidnapping this. I hope the others learn from Louis.

"Hey aren't you hungry?" i asked.

"Starving!"

"Ok. I'll go get something. Be right back." I said as i walked towards the door. I locked it.

"Oh hey Rachel." I said when i noticed she was in the hall.

"Hey Sam i was looking for you." she said.

"Why? What's wrong?" i asked.

"Liam. He's just not waking up. I'm worried there's something wrong, i don't know, maybe he's allergic to that sleeping thing we gave him? Or maybe he's sick...or dead." She said.

"Wow relax! I'll tell Claire to check on him. Don't worry, he'll be fine." I tried to comfort her. I was about to go to Zayn's room where Claire was when i heard a loud noise, like someone tripped. I turned my head to see Liam on the hall trying to get up.

"Liam!" Rachel almost screamed and rushed towards him.

"Rachel i can't believe you didn't unlock the bedroom door!" i said.

"But he was sleeping." She said as she was helping him get up.

"Wh-where am i?" he managed to say.

"You're in a house." Rachel replied. Wow so helpful. "Don't worry you'll be fine, now let's take you to your bedroom." Rachel said.

"Who are you?" he asked Rachel.

"I'm Rachel. Don't you remember me? We met backstage." She said.

"Backstage? Where? Why was i backstage?" he asked. Rachel glanced at me.

"He's just dizzy don't worry." I whispered to her. She nodded. Then she took Liam to his room.

I was about to go downstairs to get something to eat for Louis when i bumped into Claire.

"Sam, i was just looking for you.There's a little problem." She said. She seemed kind of worried.

"What?" i asked.

"Your parents are coming for a visit." She said.
