Chapter 5 - The Story

Jessica's POV

"Sam, Sam are you awake?" I whispered to Sam.

"What?" She said without moving her head from her pillow or opening her eyes.

"I, i just don't get it.." I said.

"The fuck are you talking about?" She said. She seemed pretty annoyed.

"I mean, why do you want me to date one of them? It's stupid and it makes no sense to me. I-i thought you hated them. Plus if i do date one of them, i get a new iphone and you loose a boyfriend. Why are you doing this? Are you trying to find me a boyfriend? Cause if you are One Direction is the worst choice-"

"Shush, you're gonna wake up Meg." She said. "It's complicated Jess, you don't need to know it all. Let's just sleep now. The fact that i'm loosing my boyfriend and a couple of hundred bucks shouldn't bother you." She said as she laid back on her pillow again.

"I know, but i've been thinking that.. That maybe you're doing this cause of Meg.. You know what, just never mind!" I said.

"Uh you know about Meg?" She asked confused.

"Yeah, don't you?" I asked.

"Yes, but i though you didn't know." She explained.

"She told me before they were even famous!" I said. "So tell me is this about Meg or not?" I asked once again.

"Well, yeah. She just doesn't know the whole story behind. It's not his fault-" she was cut off by someone.

"Guys?" I heard Meg's voice. Excuse you i'm a girl! "Could anyone of you bring me some water?" She said in a very sleepy voice.

It was Sunday, so we were having a PJ party, that's why we were sleeping in the same room.

"Sure, i'll go." Sam said and gave me a warning glare.

Now that Sam left the room this is my chance to ask her.

"Meg, can i ask you something?" I said.

"Sure." She said as she rubbed her eyes.

"I umm was thinking about you brother..." I slowly said.

"Ugh, Jess you know that i don't like talking about him." She said.

"Yeah, but i was wondering, why do you hate him so much?" I asked her.

"Simple: cause he hates me too!"

"And how do you know that?" I asked.

"Jess, he hasn't come home, called, e-mailed or even mentioned me, like ever. Do you need more reasons?" She looked at me and i just shrugged.

"Maybe he doesn't know about you." I said.

"He was three years old when our dad left. I was already born. I just think that maybe he remember he had a baby sister or at least a mom! He hasn't visited or called our mom either!"

"Yeah, but-" she cut me off.

"And i don't think my father would never mention to his son that he has a mother and a baby sister.."

"You can't know that!" I pointed out. "Maybe your father didn't tell him. It'd be better if you thought that way. I don't think h-" someone cut me off.

"Here's you water!" Sam smiled at Meg.

(A/n): So i guess you've already guessed what's up, right? Oh and also, i was thinking about showing the name of her brother, but then i though nah! But if you really really want to know who her brother is just ask me and maybe i'll use his name during this chapter
