Chapter 19 - DUH

Meg's POV

After i talked with Sam we went back to Harry.

"So are you gonna call your mom?" Sam asked him.

"Yeah." He said. He seemed a bit nervous.

"Then do it now!" Sam encouraged him. I think my mom is the best person he can find out i'm his sister from. I think what's about to happen is the best thing that has happened this weekend.

"Hello?" i barely heard my mom answer the phone.

"Hi, i umm i'm Harry. Si-"

"Oh Harry i've missed you so much!" she said. I've never seen her so excited. Or heard her. Harry simply smiled even though she couldn't see him.

I'm glad he didn't ask to talk to his mom on private. Maybe he was to excited he didn't even think about it.

"Hi mom!" he seemed even more nervous.

"Hi honey. I'm sorry you had to find out this way about.. me. I had thought that your mother had probably told you i don't know." She said.

"It's ok. The important thing is that i know now." He said.

"Yes of course. So how have you been?" She tried to start a conversation.

"Good."

"Glad to hear that." If she was here she would probably smile. "I'm currently on a business trip but i'll be back soon and i though we could meet-"

"Um mom i- i don't know if i'm ready to um meet you.."

"Oh. Well i understand. It's ok. Well take things step by step. Well, i have to go now. Goodbye!"

"Goodbye!"

"Oh Harry wait!" she said. "I know this isn't something that should be told over phone but i think you should know that you have two sisters." She said. "Goodbye!" and she hung up.

All of us. Including Harry were left speechless.

Two sisters? He has two sisters? Where did the other come from? Oh my god! Is my mom pregnant?

"I-is she..? " i managed to ask.

Harry was too shocked to notice that we were quite shocked too.

"I have two sisters. Two sisters that i haven't known my whole life." He said mostly to himself.

One thing i'm glad about this situation is that i finally proved that he really didn't know about me.

"D-do you think that is the announcement?" Sam asked me.

"I-i don't know." i said.

I have another sister. My mom has another kid. She's either pregnant or she's been keeping it from me my entire life.

"What announcement?" Harry asked. I had forgotten for a moment he was in the room.

"Nothing, just nothing." He'll eventually find out but i don't think this is the right time to tell him. Maybe it is the right time but i'm not ready yet. Harry didn't seem as confused as i though he would be.

"Um you can continue your video game or whatever." Sam said.

Jess' POV

Sam and Meg left the room while Harry was still staying there. I don't think he's in the mood to go play videogames or whatever.

"Are you ok?" I asked him.

"Yeah.. umm actually no." He said. "That happened too fast didn't it?"

"Yeah kind of." I shrugged.

"Who the hell is my real dad?" he asked.

"I don't know." I shrugged. I seem to be shrugging a lot lately.

"I want to call her again!" he said. I didn't react as he dialed her number again. "She doesn't answer."

"She's probably busy."

"Yeah."

"Don't worry." I tried to comfort him.

"Is that even possible?" he looked at me raising an eyebrow. I shrugged as always. "I have another mother and two sister and i just found out about that like two minutes ago. I wanna meet her."

"You just told her that you weren't ready to meet her." I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah but i wasn't thinking properly."

"Well don't worry cause she's coming here-" i stopped when i realized what i was saying.

"What? What are you talking about?"

"What i meant was.." i stopped to give myself time to think what i would say to him. "I need to go to the bathroom!" i said and tried to leave.

"Why is she coming here?" he grabbed my hand. "Do you know her?"

"No! Of course not! Why would you think that?"

"Well first of you seemed to know something when she told me i have two sisters."

"What? That's stupid? How are we supposed to know your biological mother?" I said. He slowly let go of my hand.

"Ok.." He said. "Can you help me contact her again?"

"Uh just call her later. DUH!" idiot.
