Chapter 15 - The Smell Of Trouble

Sam's POV

"You've got to be kidding me!" I said.

No way! What are we gonna do now! I need to tell the girls!

"No. They said they had an announcement to make or something like that." She said.

An announcment? I wonder what it is? Anyways i can't afford to worry about that. I need to tell the others. I walked over at Niall's room where Meg was.

Meg's POV

I heard a loud knock on the door and a desperate Sam yelling for me to answer the door.

"Who's this?" NIall asked me.

"Sam." I answered.

"Oh." was all he said.

I walked towards the door and slowly opened it.

"What do you want?" i asked a bit annoyed even though i didn't really mean it.

"O-Our parents are coming!" was all i neede to hear to realize what trouble we got ourselves.

"What? What are we gona do? Sam!" I almost yelled.

"I- i don't know, we can hide them." she shrugged. She seemed as worried as i was, maybe even more. For a matter of fact this was actually all her fault and partly Jess'. I know that if our parents find ou what we did i'm gonn get punished as well, but not as bad as Sam.

"You can't just hide five human beings!!" i told her throwing my hands in the air.

"Do you have any better idea?" she said with a slight anger in her voice. Don't blame her.

"Umm Maybe let them go? Have i ever mentioned how wrong this is?" I told her for the one hundred time.

"No, we can't!" she said.

"Why?" i asked even though i kind of knew what she was about to say: they're gonna tell the police blah blah blah.

I really think we should let them go now before it gets too late.

"Meg, we've gone so far we can't just stop now." she said lowly.

"We've gone so far? What are you talking about?" i said, trying to remain calm so i wouldn't yell at her for dragging me into a crime.

"You know why i did this! You know it! I just wanted to make things right with you and your brother but you just won't listen! Meg i know, i fucking know this wrong! You think i haven't realized that i've kidnapped five humans? If you could just listen for a moment and not boss around all the time and tell us how wrong is everything that we're doing-" i cut her off.

"You didn't even ask if i wanted this! If this was all about me you should have asked me!! And how dare you say i boss you guys around when you were the one that dragged me into this?" we were officially yelling.

"Cause you wouldn't go along with us! Jess did it even though this is wrong. She did it kowing what she'd get from this! You know what? You're just angry. Angry and jealous. Cause your brother didn't care about you. Cause he deleted your from his life, while you still worry about him every night.

I just wanted to do something nice for once-" And that's all i needed to hear to burst into tears.

Sam's POV

I watched as Meg bursted out in tears from what i said. I quickly covered my mouth.

"Meg, i'm sorry, i didn't mean it, i swear it's not true." i tried to tell her but she ran away from me.

It's almost amazing how i can hurt people without even trying. That should count as a talent.

"What happened? What did you say to her?" Niall asked.

"Shut up!" i yelled at him harshly. "I-i'm sorry." i said when i realized what i just did. I gotta stop yelling at people like that.

"You should go apologize." He said soflty, hopefully not because he's scared i might yell again.

"It wouldn't work." i said, almost sad. Who am i kidding, i'm sad as heck.

"Then what are you gonna do?" he asked.

"There's only one thing left to do." I said. I couldn't believe i was actually thinking that.

"And what is that?" Niall asked. That boy gotta stop minding other people's bussiness. Well, i'm not the one to say that.

"Can i trust you?" I asked him and he nodded.

"Yeah sure" of course i can trust him, who is he gonna tell?
