Chapter 34 - Secret Revealing 

Jess' POV

It was a late Sunday night and i was really tired by all that cleaning. I was simply lying on the couch with Meg and Claire. Sam went to the mall like the fashion addict she is.

We were watching a horror movie and it was on a very culminant part when i heard the door knock. I groaned angrily.

"It's probably Sam!" said Meg as she got up. "I'll get it."

Meg opened the door and a very excited Sam entered with a blanket on her hands.

"What do you have there?" Claire asked referring to the blanket.

Sam squealed excitedly. "I can't wait to show you! Close your eyes!"

"Sam what is it?" Meg asked clearly annoyed.

"Shhhh don't raise your voice!"

"Do you have a kid in there? Because if you kidnapped a baby Sam i swear-" Meg started saying.

"It's not a baby!" Sam yelled. "It's not a baby!" She repeated. "It's a baby kitten!" She said while showing a small white fluffy kitten sleeping inside that blanket.

"Oh my god this is so cuteee!" I bet everything i have you'd never expect this came from Meg. As weird as it sounds Meg is the biggest animal lover in the world. "Can i hold it? Can i hold it? Can i hold it?" Meg asked while holding the kitten.

On the other side, i don't like animals. I mean, they're cute and everything but they poop everywhere! I will never forget my favorite pink fluffy pillow and that gigantic dog!

"Meg we can't keep that!" I said because clearly someone should.

"But Jess she's so cute!"

"Actually he's a boy," Sam corrected.

"It doesn't matter! We can't afford a new family member!" I pointed out.

"Yes we can. We're rich," Sam said.

"I mean we can't afford it mentally," i said.

"What does that even mean?" Claire asked.

"Claire, what do you think? Should we keep it?" Sam asked.

"I uh, i don't know.." Claire started saying.

"Oh come on Claire! Just look at her!" Meg said.

"Him."

"I wanna call him Mr.Fluffy!" Meg said.

"That's too common. We should use something more creative," Sam said. "Let's call him Fluffadoodle!"

"Sam that's just stupid," Meg laughed.

"Umm girls? Why are you talking like we're gonna keep it? Cause we definitely aren't," i said.

"You know what? Let's keep it!" Claire said. Noooooo! My only hope.

"Yaaaaaay!" Meg and Sam cheered.

"Hear that Fluffadoodle? You're staying!" Sam told the cat like he could understand her.

"We're not naming him Fluffadoodle," Meg repeated.

"Where did you even get him?" Claire asked.

"Well, you remember that weird kid from our school?" Sam asked.

"Oh you mean Jess?" Meg attempted to make a joke.

"Real funny Meg," i said.

"No, not Jess. That other weird kid. That one which has different eye colors, you know?"
