*December 14th*
[Three people sit at a table in the Everdiner.]
February: This food is so lovely!
November: Simply scrumptious and unbeaten!
[February looks over at January's table.]
February: Hey, January! Come sit by us!
January: Why?
February: We love you~!
January: ...
[January casually walks over and sits at their table.]
September: It's so nice seeing you here!
January: Whatever.
September: Have you heard? There's a new store that recently opened up in town.
February: Really!? We should go check it out!
[They finish their meals and head out to the new store, which turns out to be a music store. The four look through the window.]
February: Whoa! That grand piano is so beautiful! I wish I could play the piano...
September: It's easy! Just remember the few keys and follow along the notes. Your hand gets used to it after a while, it's kind of like riding a bike.
[They enter the store, causing a jingle to ring.]
Clerk: Welcome!
November: Such grand design and architect! I've never seen anything more impressive.
[January lays his fingers onto the keys of a piano. He gently plays a series of chords before abruptly stopping. November looks and listens with a gentle smile, but then September averts his attention to look at guitars. February is browsing the wind instruments as a creepy man in the shadows catches her attention.]
February: Hello? Are you alright, sir?
Man: My violinnnnnnn... it's missing...
February: I'm sorry?
Man: Finnnnnnd me my violinnnnn...
[January walks over, noticing the man.]
January: Huh? Who is this?
February: He said his violin is missing...
January: He's probably just trying to get us to buy him one.
Man: Noooo... my violinnnnnn... was special...
January: What?
Man: It's in the Fraust Caverns... it was put there by... themmmm...
February: Who are they?
Man: The Frausterns! They... took my violinnnnn...
January: If it's really missing, then we'll go look for it. The Fraust Caverns?
Man: Yessssss...
January: Alright. C'mon February, grab September and November and let's go find the Fraust Caverns.
[The four leave the music store.]
February: Where are the Fraust Caverns, anyway?
September: Up the north hill, and beside the Grok Tree. The ancient Frausterns made their homes in the deep caverns after the war with the humans. Some say they've built a whole underground system. It's an undertale, you could say.
January: Alright, let's get going.
[The four finally arrive at a colossal, oak tree. The bark on the tree is shiny, but torn a little on its edges. The sparkling lights in the air are fireflies that roam around, and the glowing mushrooms stand against the wood.]
